Still would be cool though. He wouldn't need to be any more powerful. Just the fact that you can play as Jack would probably get a few more people to pre-order it (if that is how they distributed him). But they could probably give him one or two special plasmids.

Did none of you play the first game?

Doctor Suchong, frankly, I'm shocked by your proposal. If we were to modify the structure of out commercial plasmid line as you propose, to have them make the user vulnerable to mental suggestion through pheromones, would we not be able to effectively control the actions of the citizens of Rapture? Free will is the cornerstone of this city. The thought of sacrificing it is abhorrent. However... we are indeed in a time of war. If Atlas and his bandits have their way, will they not turn us into slaves? And what will become of free will then? Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Whoever holds the key to the city CONTROLS the splicers. Didn't you wonder why they kept saying stuff like, "I'll do what you say"?

To tell you the truth as it was only certain types of Spider Splicer that said "I'll do what you say" and spouted off other quasi-religious phrases, I thought they'd turned into religious nuts through the contraband Bibles that were being smuggled in by Fontaine.

Whatever the reason; I'm sure it will be displayed in the game, whenst we play it.
Thank you for being the first to say what I've been thinking.

Where have you heard this? Was in something in the sea.com? I cant find my way around that maze.

Also, the majority is right

He fed Ryan his pudder and staped Fontaine with a Giant hyperdermic needle. That takes balls.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but

In the good ending, didn't he give the key to the city to the Little Sisters? Perhaps they passed it back to Dr Tennembaum?
If that were true, then Tennenbaum wouldn't have a problem with the Splicers attacking the prototype Big Daddy. If the good ending were true, then I'm betting no one has the key to the city and the Splicers simply think Jack does.

So the evil ending is canon?
Not exactly. Jack gets the key either way and then it's obvious that Tennenbaum doesn't control the key because then the Splicers wouldn't be attacking the prototype Big Daddy. I'm betting that either Jack keeps the key or at least the Splicers think he does. But my point was that he was the last authority left in Rapture.
