SECOND EDIT: this whole thing seems awesome and a great way to prove your balls of steel, until you realise you have kane and lynch 2 with only 10 minutes played, or that you'll need another 200GB of bandwidth to DL all the games necessary.

Oh christ, this means I've got to try and do another 70 minutes of Clive Barker's Jericho.
I never promised this would be easy. I've got quite a few stinkers in my future (after I finish with my 10 penalty hours in Black Ops multiplayer). A handy side effect of this experiment is making you think about what you've spent your money on.

In other news, the Steam Group I made can be found here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steam_metagame

As much as I would love to try this.... I have 200 steam games, and a shitty connection. It would quite honestly take me a good year to do them all, haha.

Seems like all of my games have at least 5 hours play time on them and all achievement tied games have more than one achievement unlocked.

Y'know, bar X3 Terran Conflict, but that's because I've modded the shit out of it, and Egosoft made it so that modded games can't get achievements and there's no way in hell I'm uninstalling an 8 gig game with 10 gig of mods to get one achievement.

EDIT: Wait, shit, I haven't done it on Overlord + Raising Hell.
*Sigh*

I believe you'll get the hour back the next time you restart Steam. I had a similar issue with Black Ops.

Might give this a go. I do need to get my money's worth out of these games, so I might as well.

Can I shift this over to PSN? I got a LOT of things there
My computer has been messing up, and I already have beaten/have 2 hours on all my steam games,

In theory, the rules should work with any digital game store, so you should feel free to apply it to PSN, XBLA, or even a rival PC store of your preference.

I love this idea and will be participating, I have joined the steam group and would also accept any friend requests as I have very few friends on steam and am trying to move back to my pc from console games.

One question..

I have added all my non steam games to my steam list as to unclutter my start menu and provide a launch pad for all games instead of icon hunting, do they count as well?

What about Company of Heroes? I have all the expansions but the game is the same whichever client I load up.

I have... about 20 games I've not played or are under 2 hours. Not including expansions that are the same game like Titan Quest/CoH. But meh, been looking for an excuse, don't even know what genre some of the games I own are in.

No, only games that appear in your public profile count. I don't believe Steam tracks time spent in non-Steam games, anyways.
