Meh? The Flash sales are 66-75% off. They're as good as daily deals, they're just on a shorter timeline.00slash00 said:this sale seems pointless. in a few weeks the steam holiday sale will start, which is usually much bigger and has much better deals. unless theres a deal that just completely blows me away, i dont see any reason to not just wait and save my money.
also, AVOID THE FLASH SALES UNTIL THE LAST DAY
ThanksThe_Lost_King said:It will probably be a daily deal and if it isn't a daily deal during this sale it will probably be in the Christmass sale. So at least wait till the end of the sale to see if it becomes a daily deal and then if it isn't then decide whether you want to wait or not.Maxtro said:Is $17.99 a good deal for Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition or should I wait for a better one?
However I feel New Vegas is completely worth a measly 18 dollars. I put hundreds of hours into it(atleast 300) and that was mostly vanilla. So really if you want the best deal go with what I said before but if you just want your moneys worth get it now.
its generally smarter to ignore flash sales until the last day because its not uncommon for a flash sale that is 50% off to show up later as a daily deal for like 75% off. more than once i have kicked myself for jumping on a flash sale only to discover i could have gotten the game significantly cheaper if i had just waited a day or two.BloatedGuppy said:Meh? I missed Witcher 2 super cheap in a flash sale a year or two ago and I'm still annoyed by it. What's your issue with Flash sales, precisely?
In my experience the Holiday/Black Friday sales are generally equivalent in terms of markdown quality, although the Holiday sale is slightly bigger and has the little meta games tied to it. If I see games I want at $4 I'm going to get them. I'm not waiting a month to see if they're $3.75 or anything.
How is Darksiders 2?Moonlight Butterfly said:I bought Darksiders 2 and Mark of the Ninja last night £20 for both, not bad at all. I wanted Dishonoured but it was still a bit pricey for me. I might see if there's a crimbo sale for that instead.
The sewers is just a day 1 dlc that's free for anyone who buys new (all PC customers), I don't think the anarchy edition is included in normal sales, but that does include a double barreled shotgun (among other things I don't remember) so if you got that you got the anarchy edition.teh_Canape said:does anybody know if Rage on the steam sale includes the Anarchy upgrade?
I bought it and it says it has the Sewers DLC
