Of the people I know, most are 360 people, and orginally they saw the PS3 in contempt. Of all the PS3 owners I know (me included) didn't care either way...and got the PS3 because of the PS2... except for one, except everyone hated him, and made fun of the PS3 while he dsperately defended it (disc drives that come out are archaic!). However, I explained to them that PS3 and 360 are the same when all their positives and negatives are outlined. I always pretend to be a PS3 fanboy around them, making weak arguments. OK I've had my story now...

OT: PS3: From my online experiences... same as the 360 stereotypes above but with less swearing and racism.
360: From my online experiences... network switches...(apparently)... and like the 360 stereotypes above but with less racism... though I don't play it online that much (I don't have one)

Xbox -8 year old kids (or at least sound like em') who get really agro when they lose adn some older ones are really racist, stupid and pathetic

PS3 the same except old enough to know better (and slightly less racist) Instead of getting agro about losing they get agro when people say things such as "Gears of war" or "fable 2"

X-box 360 stereotypes seem to feature thirteen-year-old boys with neglectful parents that throw whatever game he wants at him in the hopes they won't have to actually do any parenting. The other stereotype is the despicable, beer-bong swilling frat boy fools who tea-bagging their kills in Halo while paradoxically throwing homophobic and racist epithets when they lose.

PS3 owners are generally stereotyped into two types of sad, pathetic nerd. One is the type who jacks off to hardware specs and has thrown out his entire DVD collection upon even hearing the word Blu-Ray. The second is the atrocious 'konnichiwa baka gaijin!' type of wee-a-boos who obsess over JRPGs and feel that any game that doesn't come out of Japan isn't worth their time. The latter is now committing Seppuku over the loss of Metal Gear and Final Fantasy.

As someone who falls into neither category and owns an X-box 360, I don't know what to tell you.
