Its not Sir Christopher Lee fault that he was born to do villain and scary people roles...Frankenstein, Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, Scaramanga, Saruman, Count Doku and Dr. Wilbur Wonka...
He's not been knighted yet.

Anne Rice's vampires:

- Unaging
- Pale skin (unless fed)
- Blood drinking (human or animal)
- Optional ability (ie. strenght, speed, mind reading)
- Avertion to sun light (lessens with either great age or powerful sire)
- Highten sence of charm
- Death by fire, decapitation, vast blood loss and drinking from the dead
- Illuminous finger nails (the only part that's allowed to sparkle)
- Pointed teeth that grow for feeding.

Barlow from Stephen King's Salems Lot.
Favorite vampire there.

Anne Rice does a wonderful job with the many novels she writes in a series she calls the Vampire Chronicles. This is college level reading so if you are like me and could not stand the retardation that is Twilight you should probably enjoy Anne Rice.
Both of these statements are complete win.

EDIT: Also getting really annoyed with people telling me that the woman who wrote Twilight (Don't know and don't care about her name) is a better author than Anne Rice. No... Just no.
Anne Rice isn't bad, but I prefer the Stephen King Vampire more. Barlow is just awesome.

People believe that? wow...
