Well, my avatar comes from a mesh of about 2.5 sources. The vx and xv at the beginning and end of the name are from the AOL chat rooms, back when it was in version 3.0. As for the name Icepick, and the picture, they both come from a similar source. The game Shadowrun, back before it was stolen and turned into a mediocre FPS game on a gaming system known for better FPS games. The picture actually comes from one of the Shadowrun video games from the early 1990's, and even looks a bit like me.

Diamond Jim was given to me as a nickname by a football coach... I actually had to google the name to figure why the hell he gave it to me. Turns out he was an entrepreneur of diamonds back in the day, his name was Jim Brady. My first name is his last, and I put two and two together and... well, got four. But it's stuck with me and I have a friend who pretty much refuses to call me anything else. Plus, it sounds good.

And Agent Smith? Well, if I *didn't* have him for an avatar... he'd probably kill me. Have you seen the Matrix? He's messed up.

My avatar is the symbol of one of the great comics ever (soon to be movie) Watchman. Its the badge of a masked hero who is killed at the very beggining of the story, the Comdian. The stain is his blood...or ketchup, it depends. Sorry, no one is going to understand that unless they've read the comic, so I'll just leave it at that.

The name I use on here is my actual title in RL. I own many estates you see so I actually hold the title of Baron. The rest I made up myself but I can use it on legal documents if I wish.

The picture on the other hand is a whole different matter. The man in the picture is CHICKENMAN! (and yes it does have to be capitalised) CHICKENMAN is a man who is not only half chicken he IS a chicken, a paticularly delicious raw chicken in fact. Me and him met on one of my elaborate adventures and he wound up as my avatar picture.

My picture is from a webcomic I like, and the name was one I came up with for a D&D character years back and have stuck with it ever since. As for my online persona, in most cases I'm just myself, but in RPs I tend to play a more idealized version of me.
