My Avatar is quite simple, it's the front half of a Ashimmu Class pirate cruiser in EVE online. It's one of my favourite ships to fly, although she is a bit fragile. Shot was taken from slightly to the right and above.

I'm a big anime fan, so any avatar I use always sports an anime character or reference of some kind.

My screen-name is made up of two Romaji (romanised japanese words) and an honourific:

Baka (Idiot, stupid, etc. Basically any term for a person lacking intelligence) + Bai (white) + Kun [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_honorifics#Kun]

It came about because my friend calls me whitey (hence Bai), at work I was always reffered to as 'the kid' (hence Kun) and I'm prone to making rather stupid mistakes (hence Baka); especially when I'm pointing out how stupid some else is for whatever reason. :p

Mine is from the best game ever created.
We can only hope.....

My old avatar, as many of you know, was a bit of the coast of Ireland- I just thought that particular pic looked pretty, so that's why it embodied my avatar for the time it did.

My current avatar is a 3D rendering of a chaotic fractal. I just love the patterns in those things (ha!); they look quite pretty, as well.

Therefore, I shall stay as a fractal, even though it might change every now and again.... In fact, I think I'll effect an avatar change to a different fractal right now............

NewClassic has been something of my moniker for forums for quite some period of time, stemming from when I used it as my Account Name for an online game, and loved it too much to let it go.

As far as the avatars go, I like robots. That alone is worth exhausting my expansive amount of robot pictures, cutting out the cool parts, and making avatars from them.

Somewhat ironically, given my introduction to the boards, I've become something of a new face with a Classic feel. Which is part freaky, and part awesome.

My Avatar is a screenshot from the intro of Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War. It's the part where the Ork shouts "WAAAGH!" I took it because I play Orks in the WH40K tabletop and it's my favorite WH40K race.

I like that you've stuck with robots all this time (even though I've only seen 2 generations of your avatar since I've been here at TE)....A robot really suits you-it's sort of like seeing a running gag in a Mel Brooks film; when you see it, you know it's NewClassic (or Mel Brooks......)

haha! WEll, The Dean is just what i've always called myself, since my name is Dean. But i have had several variations including Super The Dean and Super Duper The Dean.
currently, i am calling myself "A Lizard" and that is why i used the lizard pic. It is a pic of my fake pet lizard, which has its own parachute you know.

My name is there because its my favourite weapon. 465 because simply TommyGun was unavailable where i first tiped it. My other common username is Jak0008.

I chose my avatar because at the time I was emo and I liked the picture. That lasted for like 2 weeks, but since im from Ultrajoe´s "never change your avatar" group, i still embrace it as my own.

The name is generic.
You know, I've always had the odd mental image of an asian warlord (probably samurai) standing at his moutain-castle balcony, looking as a horde of zombies rising the mountain-path as he debates with the Zombie Scout. I always pictured the zombies telling him he will be trumped, only to have his heavily accented, "You rak the undead to defeat me."

I have no idea why...

A while ago, I had many different e-mail identities, and decided to change it. Upon undertaking my reorganization, I became very interested in the name Obadiah, because, to me, it sounds archaic or biblical without being too overbearing. Black is a generic, filler last name.
I made the icon in MS Paint and call it the Diminishing Pathway, a simple optical illusion (and possible seizure inducer). This was all done to create my idea of Society's Faceless Intelligence; an unbiased, well researched, fact-only and idea-creating psuedo-identity.
