Long story short?: Flying Deathclaw.

That, or the Jurassic Park time paradox.
One time a raider I shot with Ol' Painless flew into the air, as they tend to do, but instead of coming back down, his ragdoll stretched out and started whipping around in the air.
Not sure what happened, but it was pretty awesome.

Honestly, Bethesda games have the best physics glitches. I do hope Skyrim gets a better engine for all that, but something will be lost.
The Deathclaw never came down. I named him Lobo the wonder Deathclaw.
That's pretty amazing.
I bet mine would still be there, if I still had the save file.
I cleared out a lot of files from my XBOX recently, and now it won't run for very long before overheating.
Doing damage to the citizens of Megaton using barrels was fun, too.

The weirdest thing that happened to me was in Fallout 3, when I accidentally came across a Super Mutant Behemoth, and the only powerful weapon I had was a nuka-cola granade! So I threw it at the Behemoth and the game glitched and shot the mutant wwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy up in the air like he was airborne for like a minute! Then he crashed into the ground and died! First time a glitch saved my life!!!

A random NPC showed up in Minecraft. No name and I was the only one of the server.
Are trying to say that you saw Herobrine? Did this npc look like the default skin with whited out eyes?
No, he had eyes, I think. I don't think it's Herobrine but it was creepy nonetheless.

Red Dead Redemption. It was amazing.

I managed to catch sight of a ragdoll swap glitch oh lawdy

It was hilarious, in place of birds in the sky there were people stuck in a really awkward pose and flapping their arms around

I just about died laughing

I was playing Fallout: NV and as I exited the backdoor of Helios 1, heading into the solar panel yard I hear this chinking, metallic sound coming from above. Next thing I know all hell breaks loose as It rains down old lady gibson, her damn dogs and some angry molerats for good measure. They all get angry and start shooting each other and then boone lays in, blasting them to death. I just stood back and watched in awe. XD

Haven't heard about that one, and google tells me nothing. What is the Jurassic Park time paradox?
Ah, well...this is something of a cheat that I did in the Jurassic Park game for Sega Genesis. As you may or may not recall, it has levels for Dr. Grant and for a raptor. Utilizing codes that would make me invulnerable and able to actually pull Grant through solid matter if need-be, I did a weird thing. I experimented with using him in the Raptor's levels.

This was all stuff I found to be weird, of course, because aside from everything else, it means Grant is actually fighting humans and such. Well anyway, there was this one time when I was screwing about that I ran into...Dr. Grant! In some of the levels, you're suppose to see Grant run off because you're in pursuit of the guy. Well, I was in the WAY and he ran into...himself.

The two characters hit, they got stuck running, the screen went RED and the music screwed up big time.

Playing the recent Medal of Honor reboot, and I was just running to the way point when a dead body just floats across the screen. Scary and weird

Posted this so many times so I'll give the short version.
Pretty much, I was playing the first Ninja Gaid...Gad...Whatever, and I'm fighting that spider ***** that has that other ***** hostage (they both annoyed me shut up) anyway I can't take another hit and neither can spider ***** so I charge my sword for a badass finish and we both dash at each other, I heard Ryu's death noise but the screen went black for about 2 minutes.
"GAME OVER"
I died, had to fight her again but it's still the most awesome and most frustrating moment ever.

This isn't really strange as much as it is unlikely and unfair on me :S

Started a new playthrough on New Vegas walked outside the boundries. The first thing I see is a squad of 4 giant rad scorpions. I fight one off and run back to the cemetery another was killed by Victor :). Then the other 2 died :O... ENTER DEATHCLAW.... ¬.¬...Needless to say I died instantly.

No bullshit in that story...the only bullshit was the fact that the situation occurred ¬.¬

I reloaded to exiting the Doctor's house.... followed the same route this time no deathclaw. I survived that time. :)

Gee wiz, now that you mention it, I never had many strange encounters in games.

I always giggle when Boomers decide to commit suicide in L4D(2) though.

I remember the first time in DA2 I refused to help Anders
set up a bomb in the chantry
. He got pissed, his outfit didn't change, and when I talked to him he just mentioned having a favor for me. Also, after talking to him, I went to check my quests and they were all gone. No matter where I went or what I did, they didn't pop up. Finally, I turned the game off, came back in, and they were back. Avoided talking to anders at all costs.

There was also the time in DA:O that I sent Leliana to lockpick a chest. When she did, I looted the stuff from the other side of Lothering. When she ran back to me, she was frozen in a running animation and wouldn't budge from it. She could walk around, but her legs didn't move. I forget how I fixed it, but some day I need to redo it to see if she can fight while frozen.
