Hey everyone, I have been on the site for quite some time now, and I am proud to say I have just reached my 1,000th post! I would like to thank all of you for welcoming me on this site! (Most of you anyway) Well, seeing as I find this to be a special occasion, I have decided to come up with a thread to celebrate. What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you or someone you are close with?

I was gaming and suddenly it seemed like my foot was in a puddle of some sorts.
I checked and I was bathing my foot in a puddle of blood, I immediately checked my foot to see if there was anything wrong with it.

There wasn't.

Congrats on going Gonzo!
I must admit that I don't remember seeing your avatar before.

The weirdest thing to happen to me? I think it was when I downed half a bottle of vodka, blacked out, and sobered up to a girl doing very interesting things to parts of my body that are below my waist. It is weird because the last thing I remember before that was being in a park.

I saw my friend get lovingly stabbed in the leg by his girlfriend at his birthday party. Other than that, not many strange things happen to me.

Pushed a bear off a cliff.

To be fair, that was probably the strangest thing that had ever happened to the bear.

Probably the most interesting (I do alot of strange things intetnionally, like a week in June my friends and I have dubbed pain week) thing thats ever happened to me that I found interesting was I stopped a armed robbery without know it.

Some guy tried to rob the local gas station I used to work at under the table for and I went down to see my friend that was on the clock. He (the robber) opened the door and ran right into me, falling back and knocking me to the ground. by that time this HUGE (I mean, this guy was at least 6'4" and 250 lbs) guy grabbed the robber and the next thing I new I had the station manager saying I get free gas from that station for life.

But that didnt make anything more then local news for about a day.

I have to say, that is pretty impressive. I am surprised it didn't give you more attention! Most of the national news is boring anyway!

Me and 3 others ran from police and DEA agents for 5 and a half to 6 hours one night. and we didn't get caught either. True story I kid you not.

The time i came home from school to find that my younger siblings were holding an adult novelty toy (they found it in the woods no less) over there head screaming, "we found a rubber butt." I later put the "rubber butt" in a toilet at the school for my senior prank.

I'm kinda hesitant but exceedingly curious why you had to run from police and DEA agents.

Not really. Its not like a just pulled a Chuck Norris or Jason Statham or Mr. T, or anything on the guy. I was just in the right place at the right time (which is strange in itself cause I'm always in the wrong place at the wrong time and usually end up having a less then peaceful event occur for me to get out of it.) Besides, its just a gun. You're not as scared of it when strangers/neighbors/friends point them at you (I dont live in a good area, I live close to a major city).

OP: I have a few.

1. Going into a conversation wanting to insult and tell off a girl for being a ***** to one of my friends, ended it with her phone number, still don't know how I did that. One night me and a few mates were out getting hammered, last thing I remember was getting dared to vault a fence, next thing I was sleeping on my mate's floor with a Frisbee in my hand.

I saw a pair of flying dune buggys go by over my house just the other day. One was painted like the American flag and was being driven by a man in a bathrobe and aviator goggles, while the other was painted like the gay pride flag and was being driven by a fellow with mutton chops who was wearing a fursuit from the head down. It's not the most interesting thing that I've ever seen, but it was definitely the strangest.

I woke up one morning and the bottom of my pillow was covered in water but no where else was. I discussed it with my friends all that day and they all decided that I developed water-based super powers (I have very sarcastic friends). I later learned that my sister just threw a bag of ice in my bed while I was at school the previous day and it melted under the pillow... I miss thinking I had powers.

I remember when I would wake up was rather deep scratch marks in my back. They weren't at an angle that I could have done and I sleep 6 feet of the ground in a locked room. Nobody else could have done it. I was convinced I was fighting werewolves in my sleep. I never figured out how they got there.
