I haven't really ever played a video game on a computer, so I don't wanna talk about something I don't even know about. xD

I liken it to the V8 supercar races they have here in New Zealand and Australia. People are all about whether you prefer Ford or Holden. But really when it comes down to it, they are both crap. Not to say that the PS3 and 360 are crap but there just isn't enough difference between them to argue that one is better than the other. At home I used a 360, but now I have left I use my flatmates PS3 and there really is no difference.
I have a PS3 and I play PC games. I got a PS3 because both myself and my brother were fed up of sending back Xbox 360's (3 in total) and so we plumped for the PS3 and we both love it, even though Xbox has worked out the RROD and I have no problems with the Xbox, like the other consoles it has its positives and, like the other consoles, it also has its negatives too. I have never participated in console wars as they are ultimately pointless. In the words of my dad when one of his friends started telling him about how the Xbox was better than the PS3 and that he shouldn't have let us buy it;

That might even have contributed, what with Sega's marketing including such stuff as "Sega does what Nintendon't", which is pretty similar in tone to fanboy rants...
The arguement is rather childish, however I will say that most folks are ignorant when it comes to PC gaming (ignorant as in unaware) ... they think we're playing D&D or WoW, when in fact, we're playing all of the games that THEY'RE playing. A PC definitely IS better than a console, especially when it comes to graphics performance. I own and love my XBox 360, but the GPU in it is a Radeon X1950, which was a top-of-the-line GPU back in 2006. My PC now as a Radeon 6970, water-cooled, with a complimentary Ageia PhysX Accelerator ... the graphics performance is second-to-none. The other perception is that most PC gamers are hunched over their desks with a KB and mouse, when in fact, most games these days offer support for the 360 controller. The only thing I'll say about console wars, is that the XBox has a far better controller, although people with midget hands complain about the size of it. Gaming by-and-large is fun and to be enjoyed though, no matter what platform one chooses.
Secondly, I know you're new here so you weren't to know but it's usually frowned upon to necro threads this old around here. I'd just bear that in mind for next time.
