I've seen several threads from people wanting to learn a specific term in some language. So I thought to myself: "Wouldn't it be great if we had a thread that listed every language that people had volunteered to help out with. That way you knew were to look if you wanted answers."
So this thread came to mind. Here I've gathered everyone I've encountered that was willing to help out for a greater cause. If you have a specific term or a word you would like to have translated, just check our councile. Find the language, and who you can ask. Problem solved, you will have your translation.
Why would you use this thread instead of a dictionary, you ask? Well. For starters, dictionaries don't allways provide esxact translations. And are usually not as good on complete sentences. That's where a human is way better, since they have knowledge in the language in question. They know how to speak it. They know the different rules. They know wich words fit together, and wich doesn't. So for all your language quiries, this is your place. We have a councile, that'll be happy to answer your questions =D
If you have any requests of something you would like translated, or something you would like to be thaught. Feel free to post it here. I'll frequent this thread, and when I see a requst that hasn't been dealt with, I'll urge contact with the ones who's listed as volunteers, and give them a heads up.
Is langauge not what you're interested about in a specific country? Fear not, we are expanding past languages.
We now also give you the oppertunity to ask you culture-related questions here. Is there somehting you want to know about how country deal with a specific thing, go ahead and ask here. Or send the specific person a PM.
We will also have themes that will be changed from time to time. Feel free to post your experiences and way of celebrating this theme. As well as read other users'. Then you'll be able to see all the differences that is.
