I can help with a little german but I'm pretty poor, mostly greetings, pleasantries and tourist crap.

If anyone could give me advice of swearing in Chinese it'd be much appreciated.
BAKA (Idiot)!

Also there is that "kusoooo!" which means "shit!" or "damn!", but I'm not sure how to write that.
Thanks, I realised if I'm going to swear I don't want the old women on the bus staring at me in horror.
Nah, fear not. There was a time I knew how to say "*****!", but it was a long time...

Ah, they joys of watching anime with subs. Uncensored ones.
Wait, the guy asked for swearing in Chinese, and you're telling him how to swear in Japanese?
What?

Oooh, hey, sorry, I thought he said Japanese...

Well, those are still swear words worth remembering. You don't want to go "DAMN IT!" in Japan, right?

...Right?

...no me amais... voy a matarme ;[

I'd like to volunteer to help anyone with Swedish, since I would love the chance to be a besserwisser for once :)

P.S. also have EXTREMELY crippled knowledge about Spanish, Norwegian and Danish D.S.

If anyone here knows Finnish, I need help with a particular phrase. I sorta know Russian, only basics like greetings, though, so I wouldn't really be any help to anybody, haha.
Well, I may be of a slight assistance. How may I help?

I got a friend who was on exchange in Finland and now she swears in Finnish because people don't know what she is really saying. How would you tell someone to stop swearing?

One of my best friends lives in South Africa, so I could definitely get her help for Afrikaans.

Myself, I'd love to learn Gaelic, and brush up on my Korean (which is rusty at best).

I'm a native Dutch speaker, and I'm fairly good at German, French, Latin and a bit of Ancient Greek.

Interesting idea for a thread...

I'd be happy to provide insights into Japanese. I've been studying it independently for... probably at least five years now, so I'm pretty well versed, apart from specialist areas like politics, medicine, law and the like. If it's anything you've heard in anime, odds are I know what it means, especially stock phrases like, say... "kore jya kiri ga nai(/nee) ze(/zo)", for instance, which has is usually understood as "they just keep coming (so we should retreat)" and more literally means something like "at this rate it will never end"

I was just about to volunteer, but apparently I´m already on the list. That was quick. Anyway, if anyone else needs help with Finnish, feel free to PM me. I´ll try my best.

He he. It's going rather fast when I update, because I was working, and saw this huge line of people volunteering. And so I just picked up everything that looked like a volunteer. And as you told one guy you could help him with his finnish, I thought you had allready volunteered =P

And thanks a lot =D

And also, guys. If you see anyone asking for some kind of language help, be kind and redirect them here, so they can get the help they need =D
If enough people know about this, we will replace the dictionary =D
We will be a very reliable source for any help they may need =D
