How are you supposed to deal with 50 bear kills you ask, my dear Cullen? By being the best romance in all the BioWare games, that's how! >:D

(I think this may be the only romance vid I can use that both doesn't really spoil anything, and can be posted here)

You're in the hinterlands, minding your own business, just slaying nugs for kicks, when BOOM! Bear attack.

I had my entire party running away from four bears which had spawned in the middle of killing some bandits when we were out of potions but we couldn't outrun them. The bears picked them off one by one until it was just Varric, running for his life and desperately trying to find base camp.

It didn't work out well.

is now an appropriate time to be a fan-jerk? cause....well

[b/]disclaimer: not far in the game, no spoilers please[/b]

this kind of illustrates my issue with the criticism of "lord jesus savriour type" this isn't like skyrim where its literally you running around doing everything (literally everything) the inquisition is an actual force, your a figurehead essentially, and for the first time in a Bioware game your input actually feels like it makes sense

Seriously though?

Fuck bears.

One of the Hinterlands camps, there's consistently, like, three of them camped right outside near the camp entrance. Step out of camp and bam! Two bear encounter, minimum. Maybe 2 lyrium smugglers as icing on the cake.

What the fuck is it with high fantasy games and bears? Dragon Age, Skyrim, even going back to Neverwinter Nights, there are always bears!
