How many of you here said you don't like Obama or think he is mediocre and are automatically called a racist. The term racist is starting to be used by people who are insecure to accomplish more for themselves. I am the not the slightest bit racist, i actually enjoy the company of many different races and i have many different friends spread across these races.I'm tired of being called racist by people themselves are In a way racist. I know many intelligent non-white races that think Obama is not a very good president. I don't have a problem with him he is just not the best president we have ever had and just because he is black does not mean he should be treated as such. Does anyone else deal with this or things like this, I honestly hate racists and I don't enjoy being called one. I see everyone the same except for deep rooted religious nuts.

Yeah...a lot of people dissing the president ARE racists, but most of them (including me) have actual issues with the way he does things. People should not automatically be labeled racists for saying such things, unless their previous actions clearly indicate a hatred for other races.

Besides, everyone's a little bit racist. Most are just afraid to admit it.

If religion was a race, I'm defiantly racist.

I cant stand when people automatically think something is racist just because race is involved somehow. But we live in a world where RE5, which takes place in Africa, is racist for having mostly black enemies.

How on earth was proclaiming your anti-theism even remotely relevant?

OT: Yes, it is. Disliking the president =/= discriminating against blacks for being black.

Does it make me racist for noticing the most racist people I've met are non-Caucasians?
Do you think less of non-Caucasians for it?

I had this problem when he got elected, everyone kept telling me it's a historical day and then I tried to explain to them it's just another president going into office, nothing special. I didn't have a lot of success.

I think it's moronic how calling Obama a bad president gets you labelled as racist. Political Correctness gone mad.

What do all of these words have in common? They're all thrown around like a ragdoll in today's language.

It gets kind of funny when you belong to more than one of those categories.

The word is most certainly not overused....ya racist. /joke

In all seriousness though yeah I think it does get tossed around alot; it's more a buzz word the news media enjoys using to stir the proverbial pot. All it takes is headline somewhere of "[famous person], Racist?" and you've got instant controversy and instant ratings/page view spike. To quoth Mr. Python.

And now here are some gratuitous pictures of penises to annoy the censors and hopefully stir up some kind of controversy because that seems to be the only way to get people off their fucking asses and back in the sodding cinema.

I was called racist on this site for saying "White people use St. Patricks Day as an excuse to drink." Nobody called out my shot at white people, but one person said "Are you implying that non whites do not need an excuse to drink?"

Hell no that's not what I'm implying! I'm trying to make an obvious pass at white people because make fun of anybody else and you're racist, and somebody still finds a way to turn it racist. Real racism gets overlooked because so many people think everything is racist.
