The Tetris Effect

Very much so. After I beat Persona 3 Portable for the second time, I started imagining Social Link ranks for people who I'm actually friends with. After thinking "I wonder which Arcana this guy would represent", I knew I needed to stop with the Persona for a while.

There was one game I once had called Pharaoh. It was a civilization game and it was pretty good. One aspect was tactically positioning houses, roads and infrastructure so that they could develop into mansions. When I shut my eyes, I could see roads going around houses and thought to myself to make sure I put that bazaar and circus near those houses.

I never knew this had a name, though.

I still experience it regularly, I play Tetris on my iphone all the time.

I sometimes hear the sounds from Yoshi's island. Just walking along and I hear baby Mario crying.

Yesterday, after playing some bullet hell, all I saw when I closed my eyes was spiralling patterns of luminous doom. Also, for no discernible reason, I had the boss theme from Lufia 2 stuck in my head but I had no idea what it was for about two hours.
