The TF2 Guard Dog

It's a joke with a counter-joke set up by the tf2 bloggers. The guard dog image was posted by a steam forum member yesterday and seems to have been well recieved by valve.
I very much doubt that there ever will be a tenth class, let alone a weird dog. I mean jars of pee are one thing but how on earth are you meant to backstab a quadruped half your height?

And everyone knows spies come first.

And Scouts Mom comes second. Period.

I can tell the class page is fake, but if Valve are considering it I wouldn't be suprised if we see something similar to this in the Engineer update.

This guy is also completely right, every developer likes to joke around. And since it's Valve, you should know that they could do something like this.
"Then what about the post on the TF site? omg omg omg!?!?!" They are joking, they thought it would be fun. That's what makes Valve developers giggle ^^

Spies are overpowered in TF2 and something does need to be done to rectify that.

It seems fake but I hope Valve are at least thinking about rebalancing somehow.

I don't think they will really do it.. but maybe a robotic dog as an aid for the engineer isn't such a bad idea....

Now THAT is more possible (and could make the engineers more diverse then they are)

The page with the Guard Dog update on it, IS fake. The little form on the offical website saying "GUARD DOG" is real. Which means something is happening.

Ahem. I believe this to have been a Submission by a user to the TF2 Blog. As they continue to say Petent Pending. I believe that they have recived an uber submision by a fan and are show casing how good it is. WHile I doubt it will happen, It would be quite cool. Valve have never botched an update yet. So I'd trust them to make this one good. Still DOubt it will happen.

All the official Valve post says is that they're "considering it."

Which means the final product could be WAAAAAY different from what this guy has made, if it were even to be made. So there's no reason to cry "WAUGH GAME OVER MAN" just yet.

Spy has ENOUGH problems, it's the most feared class and thus the hardest to play (against semi skilled people)

this is the final nail in the coffin, UNLESS they come out with a spy update that takes something and gives you a mutli purpose suit ONE OF THE FUNCTIONS being a anti hound feature...

Just a thought.

Oh and that mutt better have low health, like 100 hp, no more. They should merely be support class' that can't rambo ahead.

What Servers are you playing on? Every server I get on anyone who is a Spy is dominating with mad skills.

About the only thing that has killed me more than Spy's has been Bear Jew as a Scout. He's a beast....
