It's clearly stated on their website that it is a fun idea and being considered. (How serious is maybe debatable). But it is of course outside input, and not official.

I highly doubt it's real.
Valve I think are just staring in awe at this guy's photoshop skills.
The BLU team is referred to as BLUE, and when playing as the dog, you're looking above his ears, not from his perspective (something I think Valve wouldn't do).

This update is obviously fake; there are too many things wrong with it.
For example, why would Valve need webs when they have servers running freakin' Steam?
However, I can't explain why it's on the official page. Maybe a joke, or directing attention at a user-created mod, perhaps?

It's on the official site, but gods I hope it's fake. Maybe they're pulling a sniper-vs-spy-esque joke, I sure hope so.
Which makes me wonder: is the whole Team Update a joke? I'd love to have a big update, just not the dog, glad that's fake.Insomniactk said:

Well the fact the whole thing looks like its been put through babelfish or a similar translator kinda confirms the fake thing. I do hope some kind of mod is developed though, even just using the dog as a model would be pretty cool.
