Completely agree, i downloaded the demo about a week before release, and it probably took me about 20 games before i actually won.
After that i was actually pretty good at defending, but then once i learned to defend, i ceased to be able to score.
Also the AI is just so completely random, in my career mode i was manchester united, i was playing a stupid round 4 of the league cup or whatever it is against a division 1 team. At half time i was 2 - 0 up and i had about 80% possession. Then after half time the AI decided that every player on their team was messi and i ended up losing 2 - 3 because the AI kept pulling out so called "jew goals"
So i thought fuck that im restarting the game, so i did and then when i retried it i won 6 - 0. There is absolutely no consistancy, sometimes the teams are a fair challenge, sometimes they're pushovers and sometimes they're inconceivably good.
And this happens with pretty much every game, pretty much if the AI decides you're going to lose, there isnt anything you can do about it.
Also one other thing that really annoys me, if i lose the ball in their final third but its an open ball that they havent claimed, my players RUN AWAY FROM THE BALL to get back into a defensive cover in preparation for them having the ball. Ive probably lost out on maybe 50+ goals because my players run away from the ball.

Agreed on the defending, im finding it a pain in the arsenal too. Its all well and good containing players, but you dont win possession by standing off 3 yards away.
I also hate the fact that Barcelona are just like their real life counterparts, if anyone goes near them with even the faintest idea of tackling them, then its either a foul or yellow card.

Same thing happened to my brother while he was playing with Man Utd, then he switched to Macc Town and started scoring. -_-;

Ok...im going to share a small piece of information that some people might find helpful, go to settings, controller settings then go all the way down the list to 'defending' and change it to legacy...your welcome

I have more of a problem with unrealistic goals. I.e. someone pulls off a scorpion shot towards the center of the field and the ball lands in his own goal, he hit the ball backwards with a forwards move.
Now that is commendable football right there =/

You do realize some people will take offence to "Jew goal"? Me included.
Regardless of what you call that, that just seems like superior tactics. Either get better or turn the difficulty down.

AI difficulty sounds like a rather odd complaint. The answer would be to turn the difficulty down and when you're better, turn it back up. And if you are struggling against the easiest difficulty, I think the problem would probably be your skills and not the game being too hard.
And so does 'jew goals'. Don't those kind of goals happen in real life too? If you complained about that kind of stuff in a fighting game you'd be called a 'scrub', unless they are acctually really hard to beat, but I would say that good defending would probably fix that (and you complained about the defence system in the game, maybe that's the problem and not the 'jew goals').
So... I guess if you could compare a jew goal to a hail mary ultra on street fighter 4 (honestly when I see it, it doesn't look like it)...
Yeah I had to bring something into this thread because your sentence was definately worth responding to, and for me it's input leniency+huge reversal timing windows for street fighter 4. At best get punished with zangief's spinning piledriver because your jump in wasn't meaty (late) enough (even if it hits), at worst, you drop a 1 frame link that isn't even blocked due to internet lag and get punished with an ultra combo.
That kind of stuff stopped me from playing link-based characters, and attracted me more to characters like e.honda.
