Something has gone wrong with Time itself, you are just someone who gets caught, or rather stuck, in a wrong moment. Be you from pasts, presents, or futures, how will you survive or even solve this?
An adventure with no goal except for perhaps making time whole? It is up to you for what you do, this is simple and true.
Safety perhaps, free from time and its horrid way, finding a future with a brighter day, or simply living giving more then what you have to say.

Questions and Comments?
FAQ
Paradoxes?-There may or may not be them, but no worries, I'll keep them under control?

Balancing?-Let me put it this way, if you can take down a fully armed 4 man tank with machine gun on top in DIRECT combat, you might be a tad over powered.

Races?-This takes place on Earth, maybe divergent evolution and what not can be played, but aliens are a rarity, and gene-splicing is mostly a future thing. Robots, Cyborgs, and Augmented Humans are just fine.

Magic?-Evident and present.

You do not Choose were you get to Begin. Please send me your sheets via personal message.

Name:(Obvious)
Background:(This is not your personal history, just 3 things that should be known, oh! And your known LANGUAGES)One of the trickiest things for character creation will be time period, to simplify it I'll prefer you to keep it down to 3 vital pieces. You can elaborate on each further if you wish, or simply keep them short simple and sweet when you answer them.
THERE IS NO SINGLE TIMELINE that we adhere to in any case for characters background, you can if you wish work with others.
Events can be wild, skewed, and out there, it's up to you to see if you create something that can be believed.

Period-A time frame in HISTORY or the future, I.E 1800's, 20XX, 30XX, or even 10,000 years from now.
Era-This means, well the obvious. Feudal, Industrial, Colonial, etc. Modern is one, but this can also include attached to it specifics. I.E Modern-Zombie Apocalypse, Industrial-Steam Punk, Modern-Supah Powahs, etc. Most of the time you can post anything, but much of the time I'll nerf/balance it if I think it is to outrageous or out of place at the time.
Origin-In the event you are a time traveler, magician, super powered being, technomancy wizard, or something or another, state so HOW you just went through time. I can accept things as simple as a hole in space/time or otherwise, or even looking in to a NOMB field.
Age & Gender/Race:(Obvious, Race is for Ethnicity, or on occasion mixture of species/tech. I.E Cyborg, Gene Spliced, Meta-Human, etc.)
Height & Weight:(Obvious)
Appearance:(Obvious, please be in the clothes you exit your time from and current location then)
History:(Obvious, but your personal history before time traveling events, and after, disruptions are occurring throughout, up to you either making a jump/travel/flash/doing the 88, or any other title for time travel stuff)
Reason to be here/things to do:(Any overarching goal or quest you are on? You do not need one but still. In any game you don't need to always play the hero, sometimes you can just be a protagonist.)
Personality:(Obvi., motivations, reactions, habits, etc.)
Powers:(Anything that exceeds human limits or modern science and skills)
Notable skills:(Any and everything on you, details for future or magic skills that are inherent)
Equipment(Any and everything on you, and their use)Clothing, armor, weapons, food, money, aids

<spoiler=Some Example Sheets>Name:Fredrick "Franken" Bartol
Background:Period:20XX, Modern-Zombie Apocalypse, Origin:Falling down scaffolding in to a dumpster, turns out random worm hole.
Speaks English of all forms and can do a decent accent and mannerisms of Irish, British, and Nearly any other known variant. Speaks Spanish and Mandarin as well up to at least 2010 standards.
Age & Gender/Race:28 Male, 98%(?) Human, 2% Parasitic Virus
Height & Weight:5'9" weighing in at 121 lbs.
Appearance:Lean, muscular, and shaved black hair, he looks like a combination of a male model and a shut-in. He's tan below his knees and shoulders to a healthy brown, but his chest and covered areas are white enough that a difference is clear as any Caucasian.
His eyes are a common brown with a rather defined nose, his face well rounded as well. Sunken and looking like he has gone through countless nights without rest, it's offset by the fact his teeth are almost blindingly white and straight.
History:Growing up in the Bay Area, Fredrick has forgotten nearly every one he knew and loved sense the Apocalypse. Easier that way (The point is, you see," said Ford, "that there is no point in driving yourself mad trying to stop yourself going mad. You might just as well give in and save your sanity for later. -HHGTG) he tells himself every day.
Around 10 years ago some virus rose out from beyond science, were it came from and how it came to is a mystery he still hadn't solved before the time mishap. It killed people relatively slowly, and was blamed on food for the most part, until low and behold the dead began to walk.
The usual events happened, Panic, "Riots", Massacres and Military intervention, the whole shebang.
Eventually a small community formed in the Bay Area, using the wide and varied hills, solar/wind power, and the coast to provide for what they could. It fell apart soon enough, boats were scuttled, and people were troubled, and in the end Fredrick was left all alone as far as he knew.
The first year was spent running and surviving, the next building and getting back to a community, followed by a year of fears and failures, and the rest with solitude and learning.
As far as he concerned he is a Jack-of-All-Trades, and nothing else good came from the years sense.
Well besides finding out that the Virus is really a Parasite, that it may or may not be created off-world or by science, reading/playing a bunch of video games, books, and doing life-sized games of mouse trap among other things.
He also may have been infected(?), then again that was when he wasn't very grounded in reality, but he's pretty sure he heals faster and can't feel things as much anymore.
On a routine check up for a mall he rigged with scaffolding, a helicopter, and what he considered his main base (including useable parking lot/sweet ass rope bridge, gaming station, etc.) he accidentally fell in to a dumpster.
Quite (in)sane, he is on a quest to find the right present, both obsessive and meticulous, he might be called a tad suicidal.
Reason to be here/things to do:Looking for the right time.
Personality:A Nerd, Geek, (In)Sane, Jack-of-all-trades, he goes through moods swings but is usually quite amicable. At the same time he is decisive and headstrong at times when the going gets tough, for better or worse, he can be hard to reason with.
Tendency to make jokes or comments only he gets, and you can think of him in the mind set of a teenager at times.
Powers:Possible increased healing factor, numb to a small degree of pain (dulled vision and hearing/taste, then again this may just be from bad habits/good habits)
Notable skills:Jack-of-All-Trades in common workings with machines, wiring, electricity, and weaponry to a modern standard, a well-learned and read man indeed. Can hunt, fight and do quite a lot with most weapons before 2000's.

Name: Wigbehrt Knopf

Background: Language: German, Latin

Period: First Crusade (Slightly altered to include magic)

Era: Medieval, 1099

Origin: During what would come to be known as the Massacre of Jerusalem, he was storming a house when he found a door, glowing a dark, faint blue.

Height & Weight: 5'7, 230 lbs.

Appearance: A muscular man, he is never seen without the dour look on his face or his armour, mostly chainmail with a tabard adorned with his orders holy insignia, although he was unfortunately without a helmet. His hair is a chestnut brown that reaches his shoulders, and his beard is still soft with youth. His eyes are a slightly glowing light blue, due to his power.

History: Although he was born a German, and raised one, he was never accepted due to his power. Many children feared him and adults exploited him, doctor by day pariah by night. His father died while he was fairly young, though he barely took notice with all the work the town leaders pushed down his throat and the bruises from thrown stones that the boys were so keen on throwing. His mothers rape and murder gave him a bit more reaction, and marked the day he learned of his arrows. 3 boys and their father died that night. He was allowed to live, though in a cell. One day as a Templar passed through his town, wounded. Young Wigbehrt was allowed to use his power on him, sealing his wounds in a warm, golden light. The Templar took this to mean he was an agent of god, and took him as a squire, nobody objected and it was with him he was truly happy. He was as a shadow for the man till he came of age, when he was promoted to a knight.

Reason to be here/things to do: To take Jerusalem back for the Christians.

Personality: He is grim and serious, and his belief in Christ guides his every move. He is also very old testament, and prone to holding a grudge. He is often baffled at the idea of Atheists or people with different religions, as he sees himself as an angel of war. If there was one postive thing to say about him, is that he is a quick learner, and adapts with ease to most outlandish situations. His combat skill is impressive, though he goes about it quickly, thoughtlessly, and efficiently.

Powers: Angelic Arm (Celestial arrows, Healing), He has had this power since he was a boy, and is one of his main reasons for joining the Templars. When activated, his right arm glows a warm, brilliant gold, and a wing made of light emerges from his shoulder blade, though it doesn't allow him to fly. The 'arrows' fly out of his palms, and can cut through armor effectively.

Notable skills: Horse riding and fencing.

Equipment:

Will come back to finish this. If there are already any problems, point them out for me.

EDIT 1: Filled in a few more sections, and corrected the Background.

EDIT 2: Added a power, and now he's from Magical Earth. Still procrastinating on the history :(

EDIT 3: I added a history, but I'm not proud of it :(. I'll probably stick with it, though. To avoid having to read it, he was born in germany, found out about his power, got recruited to the Templars after helping one of them. [sub]Please don't read it :([/sub]

EDIT 4: Expanded more, as Raynoson suggested.

Country

Gender
Male
Name: Dune Sargos
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Anglo-Saxon Caucasian
Height: 6'3"
Weight: Average
Build: Slightly Muscular
Appearance: Slightly Muscular with Lightly Tanned Skin, Short Dark Brown Hair, and Green Eyes. He has a rather large scar running across his face and usually has a rather sombre expression crossing it.

He is currently wearing the standard uniform of the Rust Rangers which is essentially ODST armour that has been painted over with a jungle camouflage that would be appropriate for Vietnam.

Background: In the history he comes from the year is 2103. The technology level is advanced and has cyberpunk elements. He arrived in the present via an anomaly in space in time which he accidentily stumbled into during a patrol in the North American Sprawl.

For specific elements of it's history, look up a game called binary domain.
Exceptions in said history would be that Japan's population had been completely replaced by the time the RUST crew had arrived, this lead to the failure of the mission. Because the mission had failed the IRTC proceeded with a full on invasion of Japan. This leads to Amada bombing most of the planet and invading it using machines.

The sprawls that survived the the bombardments became overrun with a jungle like wilderness. The war ended a year ago with the destruction of the source AI. However packs of semi sentient robots still wander the sprawls.

History: Dune was orphaned at the beginning of the war, and due to his young age and the chaos during those times he ended up forgetting his real name over time. He was used as a scavenger as most children were at the beginning, however at eight he was drafted fully into the forces. First as defence but by the time he was sixteen he had received enough experience to be a shock troop on the frontlines. When he hit the age of twenty one he was trained to be a commando and was one until the end of the war. He spent nineteen years fighting machines, and the end of the war wasn't the end of the danger, there was still machines mindlessly wandering the sprawls and people were striking out as bandits. The various survivng militaries ended up reorganising into a new government and Dune signed up for the new guard, ending up in the 451st Regiment, the Rust Rangers.

He was on patrol in the jungles of the north american sprawl when he walked into an invisible anomaly in space and time. He felt pain wash over his body as his satellite connections went down. A second later he was somewhere else.

Reason to be here/things to do: Survive, Retroactively abort Yohji Amada, and Prevent the Machine Revolution.

Personality: Due to the war he is usually quite grim. Exceptionally paranoid and cautious due to the circumstances of how he got to the present and his experiences with Hollow Children. Due to his long career in the military he is generally honourable in action.

Powers: Nanotechnological enhancement is common for soldiers in is time and Dune has received several enhancements. The ones he has received boost his upper body strength, his reflexes, his motor skills, his eyesight, his immune system, the resiliency of his cells (to the point of being bullet resistant), and the regeneration rate of his cells (controlled rapid healing).

Notable Skills: Advanced Weapons Handling (Small Arms Focused), Advanced Wilderness Survival Skills (Jungle Focused), Basic Engineering Skills (Electronics Focused), Basic Medical Skills (Combat Focused), he is trained in Parkour, and was an excellent student in Field Craft.

Languages: English, French, Japanese, and Spanish.

- ODST-like body armour, helmet, and armoured rucksack (ODST as in the halo kind).
- A Combination Wrist Watch and Compass.
- A RAOW-R8 Assault Rifle (He modified it to be more ergonomic for humans and also added: a Silencer, a Holographic Sight, and an Angled Foregrip).
- A RAOW-S7 Shotgun (Modified to be more ergonomic for humans and Dune loads it with SCMITR Flechette Shells).
- A LE-18 Machine Pistol (Modified to be more ergonomic for humans and added a Silencer).
- Ammunition.
- Pack Batteries.
- A Machete.
- A Survival Knife.
- A Lighter.
- A Grappling Gun.
- A Flask filled with Corn Whiskey.
- A Cantine filled with Purified Water.
- A Cred-stick (non-functional in present).
- A Bedroll.
- A Personal survival kit (A GPS unit, matches, sterno, a radio, a flashlight, batteries, flares, a handaxe, a swiss army knife, a weeks worth of trail rations, etc.).
- A Medkit (besides basic medical supplies it includes a set of nanomachines and chemicals intended for the rapid stabilisation and healing of the critically wounded).
Misc.: His first name was his nickname and his last name was the last name of his Instructor from during his Commando Training.

Same as above, I'll be back on tomorrow to finish. Point out anything that's already wrong.
EDITED but still not done. I will be back on tomorrow to finish it after i've had some time to think.
EDITED again and i'd like some feedback.
EDITED to correct some things.

Name: Michi
Background: No language anyone on Earth is familiar with, but it has roots in Latin.
Period: With her peoples' limited technology, it might as well be around medieval times.
Era: See "period".
Origin: She had a vision of something bright deeper into the caves (actually further out of the caves, and felt compelled to check it out. Turned out to be a wormhole.
Age & Gender/Race: 24, Female, Meta-human
Height & Weight: 6'1", 175 lbs.
Appearance: Large, faintly-glowing blue eyes; midnight-blue skin and hair with bio-luminescent specks all over; hair tied back in a long ponytail; form-fitting dark-green clothing that appears to be made from some sort of organic material also with some bio-luminescence, no shoes; lithe build.
History:
Michi comes from a divergent race of humans from an alternate timeline that spent almost all of their lives in caves. As such, over the years, they adapted to the darkness (helped along by some of the plants and animals they had to eat) by gaining larger eyes, some bio-luminescence, and sensitive hearing. Due to the labyrinthine nature of the cave systems they called home, they also have an uncanny sense of direction. Michi herself is a "shaman" of sorts, her mind being a particularly good conduit for mental energies. She's still very young, though, and is still developing her skills... or at least she was, before the whole "time hop" thing.

She'd started having brief flashes of this alternate (and very bright) time a few weeks before the one that sent her to the wormhole not far from the mouth of the caves. She'd chalked it up to her psychic visions showing her the past, or possibly the future. In fact, she took it as a good sign. That meant her powers were developing more, right?

Ever since the time-hop, she's been naturally very eager to get back home, doing everything she could think of to replicate what happened... which wasn't much, since she can't read English, her meditating wasn't giving her anything, and she wanted to keep her herbs for an immediate emergency, since this world didn't seem to have any like them.
Reason to be here/things to do: Learn more about her powers... and get back home in one piece.
Personality: Naturally curious, but understandably paranoid of these weird things that sort of look like her, but... aren't. It doesn't help that she can't understand their speech (she can understand their brains, but only when her own mind can pick out what it's thinking). She also doesn't like being in the sun, because it hurts her eyes.

She would very much like to get home, and out of the gaze of that huge glowing thing in the sky. Whenever she's in it (or any bright area) she feels she has to keep her eyes closed, or at least cast down at the floor.
Powers: Telekinesis, very limited mind-reading (surface-thoughts only, and then only in snippets; not enough to help her in combat, but she can understand what anyone is thinking), very brief and vague flashes of the past or future (no control over when they happen).
Notable skills: Almost flawless dark-vision, enhanced hearing and reflexes, innate climbing and jumping abilities (which also make her less prone to injury by long falls or blunt trauma).
Equipment: Clothing that can repair itself after a while. A curved sword not unlike a katana with bits that glow much like her skin, the sharp part of the blade in particular. A small bag of crude gold coins for currency. Various herbs that help sharpen her mind. A small grappling hook and thin but strong rope.

Let me know what's wrong with this (because I'm almost certain there's something), and I'll see what I can do.

I'll assume that the clothing itself needs to be "Watered" or "Fed" somehow to actually grow back, then again I'm remember reading the whole "Organic Threading/Roots Fabric" idea, so fine for clothing and such.
Any details on her blade would help in comparison to say steel and others, not to mention a tad curious for the forge work done.
Her skin, eyes, and etc. will count out for some periods of times, others help/hinder, so if you are fine with that, so am I.
Overall approval but I'd like some details if you don't mind on equipment, I.E pouches to hold herbs? Dried or Wet? Little things that build and let me create more interesting situations in times of action and reaction.

<spoiler=Nicholson West>
Name:Nicholson West
Background:Massachusetts Bay area, late 1660's, he wanders around towns he used to call his home, exploring the great outdoors and whatever was among it. He was raised speaking English, but his communication abilities are unpredictable due his his magical talent.
PeriodBorn in 1654
EraPuritan New England, Massachusetts Bay and the area
OriginConceived during a pagan ritual and born during another ritual exactly a year later, Nicholson assumed his place by his mother's side, his father having died three months before his birth. After Nicholson was born, his mother gave up her secret religion and became a fully devout Christian. However, when Nicholson was 7, some of his magical powers mysteriously manifested. They were harmless, but unnatural. This sparked an investigation by Church officials into the West family and heritage. Ashamed of her past actions and attempting to put them behind her, Ms. West did many things to halt or delay the investigation while it ran it's course. She used many tactics, including lying, telling the truth, confessing the names of former coven members, bribing others to speak/not speak in court, and even sleeping with investigators out of love for her son. After three years, however, her past finally caught up with her, and Nicholson's mother was sentenced to burn for her crimes. West, hiding from the authorities, cried through the entire affair. Halfway through the execution, the clear skies were filled immediately with pouring rain, but the flames only rose higher. Nicholson West has had no direct contact with civilization since that day.
Age & Gender/Race:13, Male, and English (I think)
Height & Weight:5'3", ~90 lbs
Appearance:A short and thin child, West possesses white skin that is comparable to pale, but never really reaches that level. His natural black hair is often unkempt and wild, usually sticking up above his head. His wide, puerile eyes are a thoroughly rusted green, and his arms seem unproportionally long for his size, but only by an inch or two..
History:Basically the Origin, except he walked through a purple sphere while chasing rabbits in the woods. Enter time shenanigans.
Reason to be here/things to do:He's curious. Really curious.
Personality:Childish (obviously), but primarily meek and inquisitive. He's the kind of person to be poking under rocks, climbing up trees, and staring at the stars. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm, but he's never hyperactive. He's almost always doing something and rarely tires.
Powers:Nobody knows the full story yet, but West has some magical ability that has yet to be properly studied or examined.
Notable skills:
EquipmentSimple, slightly long, dark-brown/dark-green clothes. He always wears his mother's favorite red and gold scarf even though it's too big for him. He also has some bread and a few coins in various pockets.

Criticisms/suggestions/schemes welcome, for anybody with them.

We'll say it needs some water put on it every once in a while to grow back. It doesn't need light ('cuz... dark cave), and it has a sort of symbiotic relationship with Michi in that it takes some nutrients that come to the surface of her skin in exchange for warmth and protection, which Michi can just eat something to get back. She's perfectly capable of eating normal food, but she thinks it tastes funny, and too much salt can make her gag. She loves sugar, though.

The caves her people live in are very rich in metals and precious jewels and the like, and since she's a valuable member of society (a seer/shaman), she has access to some good stuff, which is why her sword is made of a material comparable to steel, razor-sharp (not exactly steel; it's a little bit stronger without sacrificing flexibility, thanks to some organic materials used to make it glow). The glowing is mostly so she can see it in the dark, of course.

Dried. The duration of the mind-enhancing depends on how it's ingested: If she just eats it, it'll last about an hour. If she smokes it, it'll last about a day, but it has to be prepared a certain way, and she needs to inhale as much as she can, so she can't just light it in a pipe or something. It looks like dried lichen. It's a weird plant, but her dark green glowy-spotted clothes are in a symbiotic relationship with her, specifically her dark blue glowy-spotted skin, so I think I can get away with it, right? XD

Name: Berry Kincheloe

Background:
Period: 2200's, space travel, rapid human expansion and colonization. FTL travel still currently impossible, so cryostasis is required, [sub][sub]for anyone who actually cares/wants to know, I have something of an idea that they go about .8c, but haven't really put much thought into how.[/sub][/sub] No alien life discovered yet, but deep space travel has only been possible for 2-3 generations.
Origin: Inspecting a strange light on his new ship, found out too late that it was a spatio-temporal flux, in his words.
Languages: Earth Standard, a mix of chinese, english, russian and lojban that all space travellers are required to learn. He knows English, to an extent, and has studied several other languages: Chinese, Russian, Latin and Spanish, though he couldn't exactly be called fluent in any of them.

Age & Gender/Race: 24, male, mixed race human, with various minor, discreet biotechnological augmentations.

Height & Weight: 5'8", 180lbs.

Appearance: Barry is slim and wiry, with dark brown eyes and hair. He stands erect, with the perfect posture required by his military training. His face isn't unattractive, but he's not likely to win awards for it either. He's about average looking, basically.

History: Barry was born on Earth, in the terrible crowded cities of the Middle East, in what would have, at one point, been Jerusalem. He showed an incredible ability in school, and was singled out by the Earth Armada, a newly founded "space army" to be one of their officers at the tender age of ten. He was shipped off to a facility orbitting Jupiter, where he trained in combat, tactics, command, linguistics, and ancient wars, and he excelled. Before becoming unstuck in time, he was preparing for his early graduation ceremony from the academy, taking a tour of his as-of-yet unchristened ship. He was passing through the troop quarters when he saw the fateful light that led him out of his time.

Reason to be here/things to do: He wants to learn as much of the knowledge that was lost during the St. Petersburg impact event, which destroyed much of the old world in 2034. But mostly, he wants to go back to his own time.

Personality: Studious, polite, and friendly. He has a keen mind, and a fine grasp of tactics, if not much practical experience. He believes in withholding judgement until he can be sure, which has saved him when commanding many mock battles in the school. He has a soft spot for literature, and an insatiable desire for knowledge.

Powers: None, save a physique obtainable by rigorous training, and some neuroprocessors that allow him to think even quicker.

Notable skills: A keen technological and tactical mind, and a certified genius, Barry has used his head to beat his competition. He's a decent-to-good shot with his laser pistol, a modified Earth Armada weapon. He has some training in martial arts, but not enough to go toe-to-toe with anyone with actual melee experience. He can pilot spaceships from his time, and can grasp the controls of most modern vehicles using this as a starting point.

Equipment: His laser pistol (solar powered, but can be fired from hydrogen fuel cells that he has ~20 of on him, rugged and built for heavy field use. Has four settings: Kill, Stun, Temporary Paralysis and Fry.), standard Earth Armada cadet clothing (blazer with slacks, too fancy for heavy wear. He'll need to replace it quickly.), and a highly advanced medpack that he only vaguely knows how to use.

Criticism welcome. I'm vaguely considering expanding on the religion aspect, just to butt heads with ruedyn. And I need to add some more about the pistol, since it's kind of just thrown in there. Oh well. Too tired. Edit tomorrow.

Edit 1: Added a few miscellaneous details. More later. Kind of uninspired right now.
Edit 2: Semicompletely rewrote the sheet, added more details and removed random parts I disliked. This will probably be the final sheet unless gm has an issue with some part of it.

I was wrong. This is not the final sheet. This post is preserved on the off chance I change my mind, but I have absolutely no desire to play this character any longer. :|
So, to keep this post from being a mile and a half long, new character is in a new post. Hopefully no one minds. :\

Owzat?

Let me know if I need to change anything.

Name: Alexei Kegarov

Background: Soviet Cosmonaut; native Russian speaker (no other languages)

Age & Gender/Race: 27; Male; Caucasian (USSR)

Height & Weight: 5'2'' (157 cm); 130 lbs (59KG)

Appearance: Though certainly not tall or dark, Alexei is handsome, possessing the brightest of smiles. He is small and thinly framed, but in excellent physical condition. He wears a bright orange space suit and white helmet.

History: 1960; The Cold War; Alexei was selected to represent his nation in the great Space Race. He would have had the honour of being the first man in space.

On April 3rd, at 05:00 hrs, Vostok 1 blasted off. The mission was initially successful, but Two hours into the flight, a disturbance was reported by ground control. Something was happening in the upper atmosphere, directly in Vostok 1's flight path. Four hours into the flight, all contact was lost with Vostok 1.

IN THE PRESENT, a spherical capsule crash lands near a small farmstead. Out clambers a mysterious individual in an orange space suit. His first words to the confused looking farmhands: "Я другу товарищ! друг!"

Reason to be here/things to do: Alexei would (obviously) like to get back to his original time period, and back to Russia. He also needs to protect the one ton piece of state of the art, classified Soviet technology he just climbed out of. The last thing he knew, the USSR was on the brink of war with the USA. As such, he can't shake the paranoia, confusion and sense of military duty whilst traveling in a strange foreign country. Meanwhile, no one has ever heard of him or his space mission (as far as everyone is concerned, Yuri Gagarin is the first man in space). Getting over this, without being able to speak the local language or communicate back home, is crucial.

Personality: At the best of times, Alexei is shy and extremely sharp minded. Unfortunately, these aren't the best of times. He is brave, but deeply unsettled by his change in surroundings. The space flight alone shook him up a great deal, the time travel even more so.

Powers: None as of yet.

Notable skills: Excellent education in mathematics, physics and technology. Trained as an astronaut. Skilled combat pilot (of 60s era migs). Has had field, first aid and combat training.

Equipment: Besides Space suit, Alexei was issued with a survival bag, containing:
Makarov pistol and ammunition; wrist compass, waterproof matches; machete; fishing kit; strobe light; fire starters; radio;wool gloves; signal mirror; medical kit; penlight; balaclava; flares; whistle; sewing kit; insect repellent; wire saw; rations and 2-liter water container.

As the survival bag is heavy, Alexei will probably leave a lot of its contents behind.

Mmmm... A character from a Shadow Hearts inspired timeline or Lucrece? Or neither?

Half a reserve please.

This is the new character. I'll likely do some further editing, but I like this one much better. For the moment. :| I'm not usually this fickle, my apologies.
Name: Saoshyan
Background:
Period: 4th Century BCE
Era: Magical Ancient
Origin: Voluntary time displacement.
Sao is a new Magi of Zoroaster, and already a competent wizard to boot. He speaks Avestan, but knows a spell that (when it works, which is only when it's really necessary) allows him to speak and understand other languages for a short time.
Age & Gender/Race: 16, male, Persian.
Height & Weight: 5'4?, 120lbs.
Appearance: Sao dresses in all-red robes, with a red turban and slippers. He is thin, with many intricate tattoos across his face, arms and torso, most of which are images of either fire, water, or the night sky. He isn't especially muscular, owning to his training as a priest taking most of his time. He has dark brown hair worn short, and bright green eyes.
History: Sao was given to the priesthood at birth, due to his mother dying from birthing trouble and his father having died weeks after his conception. He was raised from birth to be a priest, a Magi, and, as such, was able to attain priesthood far before many would. He was trained in the magic arts of Zoroaster, of reading the stars and controlling the elements of atar and apo, fire and water. He displayed precocious talents in these arts, and mastered the basics before he was seven years old. After this, he learned miscellaneous magic from the magi in the fire temple. At 15, he became a full-fledged magi, and began his ministrations. However, after only a year, he began to grow restless and desire to travel the world. In a vision, the god Ahura Mazda showed him the ritual to open a portal to a new time, a new place. Upon waking, Sao immediately gathered the needed items and performed the rite.
Reason to be here/things to do: Boredom. He only wants to explore a new place, and to practice his abilities unhindered. However, he believes the temporal warp was caused by Angra Mainyu, the creator of evil, and that he was sent by his god to fix it.
Personality: Easily angered, prone to rash actions, but ultimately kind. Completely devoted to his religion, and devotes himself to battling druj, chaos and decay.
Powers: Aforementioned magic abilities, control/production of fire and manipulation of water, as well as a few minor spells. Also able to read the stars for a prediction of the future, though with time so muddled this is not as useful as it might could be.
Notable skills: Not very many. Due to his secular life, the only skills he ever really developed were performing rituals and magic. However, he is fairly persuasive, as a priest probably ought to be, and is reasonably capable of hand-to-hand fighting, due to a few (dozen) boyhood scrapes.
Equipment: His clothing and a small, mostly ceremonial dagger. He has a small pouch of dried haoma, mostly as a symbol rather than for actual use.
Feel free to make any comments, suggestions, criticisms, insults, potshots, lobbed molotov cocktails you feel necessary/desire to. Haha.
Edit 1: Expanded his appearance, but I don't see much else I want to change yet.

I only wanted to say how unusual (and therefore, excellent) your character is. Certain eras are more familiar or popular, and it's nice to see someone pushing the boat way out - I don't think I've ever seen a Zoroastrian character. Ever.

To be honest, I don't think anyone has ever played a Zoroastrian character.
Anyways, thanks! Very kind of you to say so.

Just here to say I ain't dead and simply waiting on everyone to get their respective sheets in and etc. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions at all.
