I've got a world planned, but that doesn't mean it's my turn. if someone really wants to go first, like Evrant, that's fine with me. Since he did say that he has some kind of training level for Aleister or sommat.

Of course, if we're doing some stuff in character, I've got a feeling Atticus and Caedis aren't going to be too keen on staying when they've got time sensitive and revenge planned respectively.

Should be interesting to see where we go next.
After a little social time of course.
Prail needs to help out and it could be nice to take in a little culture.
I?ve done by best to make the Lallowens interesting so it would be a shame to see them wasted as a bunch of savage monsters especially considering the war.
Well, we are waiting for it, at least for now, unless someone gets a sudden urge to move on.

Also who's going to be next in-line to GM?
Undecided.

[b/]Anyone who is interested should send a basic layout to me (and Asclepion if he wants it) so I can get just a rough idea for the level - Plot details NOT needed.[/b]

Example: I sent Asclepion a rough draft of the first post for my level so he could have a rough idea how to set up the exchange of the GM hat (which is totally the phrase I'm going to continue using for this)

[b/]Alternatively, anyone who is interested could post a basic level idea here and we could vote on it. Downside of this method is that it would remove some of the mystery.[/b]

On a side note: [u/]now that we are getting close to the end of my level, I'm looking for a critique of how I did on the level (things people liked/things people didn't/etc...) so I can improve my GM style. Please let me know.[/u]

Edit: Now, back to catching up on the posts...

Oh, right, I just remembered. As Naut mentioned before, it would be nice if someone was taken aback by Stonefuse's new behaviour. Of course, not right away, as it's not something that you'd care about after a battle like the one the group went through, but later, when things quiet down a bit.

I kinda want to GM. I already picked out some stuff or my level.

As for your level, I think it went pretty well. I like how you handled the behind the scenes stuff with Stonefuse and Prail.

Now, for my level:

They passed through the portal quickly and were immediately assaulted by a burst of frozen air. They looked around the room. Icicles hung down from the roof of the cave while others pierced through the floor. Atticus, Faunra, Nathan, Aleister and Caedis had to hold their footing and tread slowly, trying not to simply slide down the arching path that lead away from the portal.

As Stonefuse and Damien made their way through, the pathway began to slightly crack beneath them and they qucikly shuffled along. While some of the others slightly shivered, Prail didn't seem to really notice the change. She was apparently pretty content in cold temperatures. They made their way down the path, the ice and blue lighting luminating the cave. They made their way through the cave, eventually found themselves in a room of multicolored ice.

"The light must be coming from outside. This must be the exit!" Atticus said, picking up the pace. The others picked up pace, nearing the exit. As they did, Damien felt something strange in the air. He wasn't sure what it was, but all he knew was that he didn't like it. Veritas looked at the ice. He began to wonder how his water abilities would transfer to ice. Stonefuse was shuffling along, when he noticed something. It looked like an ice sculpture of someone. He tried to get Just Atticus's attention, but when he turned to look at the statue once more, it was gone. Aleister decided this would be a good level for flame spells and Zavier tried to see if he had any books that would help them on this level. Faunra shuttered a bit, but her senses picked up on something. Quick footsteps that faded away. Caedis and Nathan simply made their way out of the cave. Atticus was simply miserable. He hated the cold. So much. Prail seemed to actually be enjoying herself. They exited the cave and were bathed by light.

Their eyes adjusted to the light and they looked around. They'd apparently been inside a large mountain which was in a valley. They looked around and realized their was only one way out of the small valley. As they walked, Atticus simply uttered a variation or what he usually says whenever they entered a new level.

"So, where do we begin?"

Again, VERY, VERY, VERY rough! I kinda want to get a few of the guys waiting involved. And don't worry, it seems kinda empty right now, but don't worry. Stuff happens. Oh boy, does stuff happen.

I liked the level. Seems somewhat short, at least when comparing the number of pages that it fills, but also a lot more eventful. Maybe that's just the thing: More in less. Also liked your wording.

Huh, and I was considering making my level a fiery one. The setting seems okay, as far as I can tell from that post, though I'd like to point out two things. The first one, a trivial thing, Stonefuse would no longer call Atticus "Just Atticus". The second one is the wording. You're repeating the same words a tad too much, in my opinion. Though that's just an aesthetics.

Yeah, I probably should change that later.

As for repeating words, that's one of my greatest issues. I try not to use the same words too much, to prevent everything from becoming samey, but what are you gonna do? Maybe I should keep a thesaurus near by, just in case...

That's what I do. If I feel like I'm repeating words, I check for synonyms. Sometimes I cannot avoid repeating, but hopefully it doesn't show.

Yeah... If my computer is on, I probably have thesaurus.com open. It's a surprisingly useful website (though for me, there are no where near enough words that mean "roar" or "massive" in the English language)

I've been thinking. Aleister is a soul reaper, and they reap souls of those who's life is at an end, or those who eluded death's touch, correct? Now, wouldn't it be interesting if Dante sent Aleister after Stonefuse's soul? I mean, Stonefuse shouldn't even be alive. He wasn't even born. I think it would open up some interesting possibilities.

Hey hey hey don't go associating not being born with not being alive.
Prail was never born and she?s more than alive enough thank you very much.
What I mean to say is, he was in his mother's womb when she was killed. His life was ment to end then and there.

"The doctor is in!" The hooded figure yelled. As Atticus looked over, he realized it was Aleister in the cloak.
I might be wrong about this, but I think his clothes change as well when he changes his form. Meaning, when he's Aleister, he doesn't have a cloak.
