I have a bad habit of explaining the subtleties of my writing, so I apologize in advance.

The way I see the connection between Etrius and Caedis is more than just that they both lost everyone they cared about when they were powerless to stop it, but the context of it. They were both prodigies in battle and that gave them confidence even though neither of them had seen real war. Then when it finally came and people they cared about died and they, with all their skill couldn't stop it, they both took responsibility for the tragedies, and so they share a very particular type of grief/guilt.

Deep stuff huh?
Makes sense. I'm just glad I didn't die...

Side note: What's with my character and almost dying by sharp objects? (the crystal guardian claw, the ice storm, now an angel's claws) Faunra should just stay inside lol

Yeah, I've come to notice since you've brought it up.

Toss in Caedis' pushing away of love because of what happened with Darius so she doesn't want a repeat or to fall in love ever again. We both seem to have "tragedy"-type characters as well with yours losing a people and mine losing an entire kingdom :p

The way I see it, most of our characters are the "tragedy" type , though Caedis and Etrius are the strongest, and most deep in meaning. Take it she'll still accept compliments about her now and again. Like how I had Aleister describe her beauty whilst he was dealing with her injuries.

I feel left out of this pity party now...

What's worse than having family believed either dead or not returning, suddenly come back and betray the entire realm?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't exactly know how Atticus fits into this whole tragedy thing. More of so, his level still exist, family is still around...it's just horribly fucked if he doesn't complete his little quest. Atticus seems to still have a degree of happy in him, but there's a mixture of constant fear fueled by a vague sense of responsibility running through him.

Sure, he could just continue climbing, reach the top, and supposedly become a God, but how long could that take? Plus, if he were to die along the way, what would happen then? Evacuating all of Agris would practically be impossible and people in that level tend to have a strange sense of "we're in this together, or we're all out of luck." The only reason Atticus has lasted so long is because of a mixture of luck and ingenuity. His slingshot didn't always fire flames, explosives, and etc nor did he always have a shitload of tools at his ready.

Anyway, I'm about to post.

Guess I'll be busy tomorrow.

I'm sorry and it is indeed a lot to catch up on along with Stonefuse as is getting himself a rather psychosomatic thing going on... Good luck.

You almost done? Not to sound impatient.
And done. Sorry for keeping you waiting, I tend to change gears mid-sentence and retype a lot of things.
No problem. I know it takes a while to post - especially long ones(e.g. see my long posts in the Evangelion RP... hours of writing... blag...)

So If i'm getting this all right freak ice death storm (Damn you Archmage and your water elementals, aura, and blizzard!) is raining and now to fix it or prevent it, or whatever it, involves a weather control device that must be put up in to the "Eye of the Storm" so to speak as such...

Yeah, that's pretty much it...though, there is an explanation for all the bullshit.

And boy, is it a doozy!

I'm just going to assume techno-baubles and magic mayhem is all up in this, and kinda curious what the heck you intend to occur to the Library Club, running through the ice and all...

Here's a hint: I got the whole idea for this whole thing from reading about the Cold War.

As for the library club, I'm about to talk to Red abut it.
