I guess that would be StarCraft 2, and Call of Duty Blops, or maybe minecraft i'm not sure which one's are more different from the other.

My favorite game of all time? Bioshock.

My second favorite game of all time? Pokemon.

I wonder what that says about me...

Vanquish and Catherine. "What if Michael Bay directed a Japanese sci-fi war?" vs "Puzzle game that questions the institution of marriage as well as love."

Bit. Trip Runner and Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Though that shouldn't come as a surprise since I would literally play anything that appeals to me, and that's a whole lot of things.

Oblivion and the Madden franchise.

While I am a heavy gamer, I also enjoy watching football and playing the Madden series.

That's about a big a gap as I think I can go.
Well, how about this?: Gears of war 2, and crash bandicoot.
If anything I'd consider those two games closer than the ones I mentioned, if only slightly; Warhammer 40K and Gears of war are both bloody games, set in a dark futuristic fictional universe with a chainsaw somehow implemented into the standard go-to weapon. Crash Bandicoot's a big company made title based around the platforming genre, making your way around a map while betting various enemies up in some way shape or form, whilst collecting crystals (most of the time). Audiosurf however, is a indie-made title with no form of violence what-so-ever, and is pretty much ALL about the music.

As someone else has said, "just two?"

Assassin's Creed and SingStar,
Infamous and Burnout Paradise,
Resident Evil 5 and Little Big Planet 2.

Then to counteract all of that I also play WoW. Actually, that's a lie. I used to play WoW, but I'm guessing it still counts.

Football Manager and New Vegas; apart from the fact you're playing a certain distinct role in both, pretty different, I'd say.

Lately I've been playing a lot of TF2, so I'll use that as one end of the scale. The other? Super Meat Boy. Worlds apart from each other in my experience.

TF2 is pretty much run & gun, you might die if you're not careful but there's always plenty of ways to escape and I generally remain relaxed whilst I'm playing it.

Super Meat Boy, on the other hand, is absolutely infuriating. And I love it. But if you touch any of the interchangable hazards you instantly die. This is a game I have to exit to save my controller and my own health.

I am an avid player of Pokemon (that is to say, competitively) but the only home console game I ever touch is Gears of War.
