I usually have a popsicle. Once I'm done eating it I chew on the stick until splinters start detaching and stabbing me.

Some kind of lolly pop. It's not particularly substantial but if I'm having a serious gaming session, you will find me with one in my mouth. It doesn't feed hunger at all, but the sugar rush provided allows me to completely forget I'm even hungry until I crash a while after I finish playing whatever game drove me to the lolly pops in the first place.

Plus reading this threat while smelling the dinner being cooked downstairs is really making my stomach rumble.

Pods (dunno if exist outside of Australia, probably do), some kind of salty chip like pringles or bag of chips although im less inclinded to pringles because of the obvious hand stuck in the container problem. Also dont mind gettin pizza or indian take-away if im having a sesion through dinner. As far as drinks are concerned im happy with water, juice or any softdrink but tend to not have milk. I also never drink alcohol unless its with mates and just for fun drinking games. Surprisingly im a healthy 74kg and still quite fit.

I don't eat while playing games, but when I first played Saints Row 2 I felt less hungry playing it. Maybe I once looked at it as food, because it was my first sandbox game and it was big. Yes I was stupid. XD

Rice cakes. They're healthy-ish, don't make too much of a mess, and they have a nice texture.

Well, I have a minifridge here, so my personal favourite is a pepperoni ciabatta sammich. It does make me feel like somewhat of a fat bastard. (Though it's probably healthier than all these pringles, and quite frankly I could afford to be a bit larger. I can cut things with my wrists.)

I would normally eat a banana or a sandwich. I don't mind what I eat as long as it doesn't leave a residue on my hands. If that happens, then it gets onto my controller and keyboard and they are a pain in the ass to get off.

An interesting question: You with for something tasty yet not oily so your controller/keyboard does not become oiled up.

Personally I like popcorn and diet coke. Its easy to eat while also focusing on your game and can last for a long time.

Beef jerky, always keep the stuff around
This. Best snack ever. Not too greasy (so you don't make your controller/keyboard gross) and comes in a variety of flavors. =)

Pocky. Usually though I prefer to just pause and enjoy my meal slowly and peacefully. While watching anime.

Chips, any kind, Lays, Doritos, Cheetos...I think they classify as a chip? Original flavor for Lays and Cheetos pretty much any kinda of Dorito. And a nice big root beer or cola to wash it down.
