Great admirer of Extra Credits speaking, not least due to the minimalist charm and splendor of Theus' artwork. Seeing such an intelligent and reasonable account for the artistic integrity of this great medium was completely new to me when I first watched an episode of the show, and seeing it channeled through such precise and smart imagery was what truly rendered me a fan.

Seeing the donations already accumulate over $50k does remind me of how wonderful (and valuable, both metaphorically and literally...!) empathy is.

Hope the operation goes well, Allison. You're a great artist and talent, and knowing you'll get the help you need is absolutely fantastic.

Take it slow. You seem to me to be the type who jumps back in the saddle quickly, but these injuries take time to heal and you really need to let your body rest while you recover.

Wow, Just finished watching this week's EC. That's amazing! But who knows, maybe because the people were donating for the "small" cause of one human being, a human that we kindof know (as much as a person can be known through this type of forum through the internet) that it was easier to raise the required amount rather than raising the same amount for a grander cause that would be just a drop in the bucket in solving. Still, it's really great to see the Escapist rally round one of it's own. Good luck with the surgery Alli!
