The original Sonic The Hedgehog on Master System 2- Who else remembers when your console came with a game actually built into it?

Christ, I've been attached to video games as long as I can remember, since Super Mario World and Super Street Fighter II on the SNES.

However, if you want to know the game that cemented my place in life as a true gaming enthusiast, that would be Devil May Cry. That one made me a gamer.

Well there are a few

1) Diablo 2/Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - I was still in kindergarden back then and I watched my dad and uncle play those games. Since my balls haven't developed yet, I wasn't able to fully apreciate the masterpieces that I was witnessing, so I was thinking "Ooooo shiny! So colorful! Hehehe, walking cows are funny derp!" When I finnaly got a hold of the keyboard I, of course, was killed by the junglemen in stage 3 ... but nevertheles I continued to fail again and again until I was good at it. Hooray for out gamer stubbornness!

2) When I was a little bit older (6-7 years I think) I was given a PS1. My very first game was Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer. To this day, it's still one of the funnest games I've ever played. After that was Crash Bandicoot 2. Loved it. And then Tekken 3, which offially gave me my "gamer" title. Yey, I feel so proud ^^ ...

For me, it was either Spyro the Dragon on PS1, or Pokemon Red/Blue on Gameboy Color. I can't remember which one I played first, as it was 1998 and I was only 4 years old at the time.

Kingdom Hearts. Oh, that game brought me many hours of "0.o" faces and "Holy shit Sephiroth's sword" moments.

Also made me desire for weird, innovative, action-y games. Thanks, Square Enix, for making the best Disney-Final Fantasy crossover ever.

EDIT: Technically, Super Mario World or Aladdin for the SNES were my first games, but I was like 6. So the Kingdom Hearts series really brought me here.

My first games were on the Commodore 64, but I can't remember any titles.

The game I remember getting me really into gaming was Sonic the Hedgehog. An obscure title from the 90's that I don't think anyone else played but me. It was about this odd blue hedgehog that wore shoes and ran really fast.

I don't know what game it was but the earliest games I remeber were either on the c64, ahh the good old days where would where it would take 1/2 an hour to an hour to load a game, or a nintendo game watch.

This is the 1st game I remember owning

Woah. That was a long time ago.
It was either the first Harvest Moon, Chrono Trigger, or Wario Land on Gameboy Pocket.

Pokemon Blue, Mario Kart 64, StarFox 64, StarCraft.

Cousins introduced me to Pokemon, neighbor had the N64 titles, and dad brought StarCraft back from the office one day.

But really, it was Pokemon. Oh, my Blastoise/Alakazam/Beedrill/Butterfree/Raichu/Pidgeot team...or maybe it was Fearow. In any case, the other 5 are definitely right. Good times, man.

Either Heroes of Might and Magic III or Age of Empires 2. The very first was Red Baron, though.
