It was Cool Spot on the megadrive i believe. If i ever encounter anybody who doesn't like cool spot ..I shall challenge them TO A DUEL TO THE DEATH! Although i have yet to meet anybody who didn't like it :]

um... hmm... the first game I watched and knew I wanted to game was SNES A Link to the Past.
The first game I actually played by myself was N64 Ocarina of Time (after watching my bro and dad beat it three times each). and the first game I beat all by myself was PS Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon. It may sound bad but I played them 3,1,2 becasue I didn't know witch one came first.

I'd have to say GTA San Andreas was what really got me into gaming, back when I could do but fuck whatever I wanted, wherever I wanted, now I wish I could slap myself for the inevitable REALISTIC future for the series and get myself hooked on Saints Row 1.
Same man. I had it on the Amstrad cpc464. I totaly loved it. Didn't think anybody rememberd it apart from me on the entire planetputowtin said:

First games that got me interested were Paper Boy, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Startropics. Startropics was AMAZING! But i'd say it was the follow-ups to these that got me hooked (I skipped most of the SNES) which were LoZ: OoT, Diddy Kong Racing, Super Mario 64, DK 64, and Iggy's reckin' balls.
My mother has home videos of me playing Batman: Returns for the SNES, while I was wearing a Batman costume..
I don't know. I was too young. It was probably pacman.
But What got me back into gaming (got me to pick up a ps2 after several years of just picking up the odd game on the pc every couple of years) was the combo of Katamari Damacy, Burnout 3, and gta Vice City.
I still go back to them now and again. They're just great games. In fact, I'm popping in San Andreas when I get home today.

Pokemon Silver. My parents got me a gameboy color and Pokemon Silver for Christmas when I was a kid and I've never looked back since.
Syro. The Motherfuckin'. DRAGON.

Its hard to tell what really got me into gaming as a whole though, as far back as I remember I've always played computer games, from that joyful christmas that I received my very own SNES and when our family got a Win95 PC that had a couple freebee games (Doom, MechWarriors, NHL 90something)
