So the walking dead tv show never really caught my attention, but I read about the comics and got interested, and started reading the comics, damn they're amazing, I read up to issue 69 in two days, I haven't watched the tv show but apparently it has some differences, So which one do you preffer?

I prefer the comic series by far, I was lucky enough to borrow em from a friend. The show opened with 6 pretty great episodes then went full soap opera after that.

I started with the comics, got annoyed by people being idiots in order to move the plot along.
Started with the TV series, came to terms with the same problem ;)
Got back to the comics. Now I can't wait for the new one. Should be out these days, I think.

The comics, no doubt.

Not that I don't like the TV show, but the comics are much better.

Really? Did you start from the beginning? I thought The Walking Dead's first episode was incredible. I can't remember a first episode that I've liked more than that.

Can I throw the game into the mix? That's my favourite iteration, I think.

If I had to choose outside of this, I would choose the TV show. But this is heavily reliant on the fact that I'm lazy and watching TV is definitely more into my realm of relaxation than reading. I do enough of that crap all day at work.

It is not without flaws by any means though, as I thought season 2 was really weak and 3 was good and bad in places, so I don't know if they will ever recapture the spark they had in the first one. It was only 6 episodes though.

I read the comics first, and have always greatly preferred them to the show. Something about how the show veers between following the comics and completely doing its own thing just kind of bothers me, and it doesn't help that the show isn't... well, very good.

However, I have recently been losing interest in the comics as well, as they seemed to start going downhill after Made to Suffer and never really stopped.

I also agree with Ubiquitous Duck, in that Telltale's game is my favorite entry into the Walking Dead universe (and the only one I'm still excited to continue).
