The Walking Dead DLC May Be On Its Way

This 400 Days malarkey may explain all those Vine hints.

If you've been paying attention to The Walking Dead, Telltale's zombie apocalypse game based on Robert Kirkman's story of the same name, then you know there's been some Vine hints [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/124591-Telltale-Drops-Walking-Dead-Hint-Via-Vine] dropped concerning new characters. There have been four so far - Vince, Bonnie, Russell and Shel - technically a fifth, if you count whoever it is putting up all those signs. Now a DLC listing, 400 Days, has popped up on the Steam apps database, which may link in to all these Vine reveals.

If so, it seems likely that the Vine reveals and DLC drop refers to that same hint dropped by story consultant the Steam history [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/122361-Telltale-Is-Bringing-More-Walking-Dead-Before-Season-2]. No doubt E3 will fill in some of those details. Meanwhile, you'll just have to be patient.

So good luck to Vince, Bonnie, Russell and Shel; they'll probably need it. Does the Day 2 listed in the Vine hint mean Vince is the first to go? Place your bets!

Wow, if this news of DLC is true, my hat is off to Telltale. They hold a bundle in which they sell thousands more copies of the WD game so they turn hype back on (by people talking about the bundle and the new people who are playing). Then they campaign a DLC? Seriously brilliant move TT, very nice business strategy.

With how slow the comic is going (seriously, fucking snail's pace), some game DLC will hopefully remind me why I became a fan of the series in the first place.

TT4Life, yo!

I wish people would stop calling TWD a 'game'.

This is an interactive movie with tons of video to watch, some really trivial tapping/clicking to do and some semi-decisions to make.

It's not bad as series of Quicktime events par se but the concept is something I don't need to see more often and as such I do not support.

I can understand not liking it as a game, but even if you think of it as a movie it's still far better than most. I'd rather "play" The Walking Dead than watch most movies.

OT: I'm worried that DLC won't be long enough to tell a meaningful story. The Walking Dead used the episodic format very well, and absolutely needed its length to fully realize its character development. I'd imagine DLC is a single episode, and if they're focusing on new characters, there's no way they can do something anywhere near as good as the main campaign in just one episode.

P.S. Thanks

So is pong not a gmae?
Let me guess Super Mario Bro's for the NES isn't a game either.
And I bet tetris isnt a game as well.
For the last time the walking dead is a game, it ha gameplay mechanics ergo it is a game, regardless of whether you like it.

OT: I can't wait, I just hope tell tale doesn't introduce a replacement lee or clementine
