Escapists, on April 27th, Telltale Games released the first episode of a planned five episode release of a Walking Dead video game.

Has anyone played the game? If not, it's only 5 bucks! Give it a chance!

If you have, what did you think? And are you impatient as I am for the second episode to release?

The wait is over. The Walking Dead: The Game Episode 2 is coming this week. Yes, in a bit of last minute news, Episode 2: "Starved For Help" will land on Xbox Live tomorrow, Wednesday, June 27th. PC and PS3 versions of the second of five downloadable episodes will arrive on Friday, June 29th. Those dates are international with the exception of PS3; European PS3 users will have their own date to be announced later.

Gods help IGN if this is wrong though; I've been let down too many times by thinking "It'll be NEXT week!"

Sadly, I haven't heard much love for the game. I've only seen one other user say they played the game

I was a little skeptical about it at first but I love the Walking Dead universe so I decided to get it and I absolutely enjoyed it, really good story with great characters and the puzzles aren't stupidly hard. Also Telltale games confirmed the release date themselves so yes it will be coming out tomorrow OP.

So, what do you think will happen with the story?

If you go to the chapter select screen and flip through the chapters, it shows a picture of something in that episode.

Any thoughts?

Well from what I remember and what I've heard in interviews its going to involve more killing and violence than the first episode. I think your going to end up running into another group of survivors and they'll try to take your stuff or something and you'll probably have to choose between going after them or trying to get rid of them, or something to that effect. I don't think I'll get it tomorrow though as I already have an enormous backlog to play through and I'm getting tight on cash.

I've got to get through Half life episodes one and two, all three of the Penny Arcade games,I am two levels away from 85 in world of warcraft, and most of the games from the humble bundle.

So yeah I want to finish the games I got before I start buying new ones. Not so much a money issue so much as I don't want to get distracted from the games I already have.

Why did they have to wait till AFTER Dawnguard was released?! This upsets me!

Well, at least it'll only take like 2-3 hours or so to play through the 2nd Episode, I'm excited its finally out.
