Anybody catch the premier?
I did, I thought it was awesome! I think I have a new favorite series and a new reason to watch TV on sundays.
Anybody else like it? Hate it? Other opinion on it?

That is one of *very* few shows that makes me regret not having television. Needless to say, I missed the premier, I'll probably miss the season, and I'll most definitely buy the DVD box set when it comes out and drops a bit in price.

I thought it was pretty good, my concerns about the guy playing Rick Grimes are mostly gone. As a huge fan of the comics, I hope paradoxically that the TV series is hugely different in certain parts. A large part of the comic was that you never knew who'd die, anyone and everyone might die (well except Rick, you knew he'd survive but never in what shape).

I couldn't help but feel bad when I saw the black guy's son and Rick's wife knowing that they eventually die

If your interested and you get AMC you can check it out, the premier is about an hour and a half long and it's still in the first 15 minutes.
