I have a bunch of pictures on rotation, but this is the one that was up when I opened this thread:
I was a huuuuge Calvin & Hobbes fan as a kid.
Shit man. Is that fan art, or was there ever something official along those lines?

Fucking love Calvin and Hobbes, and I'm a sucker for emotional endings.

This is mine circa August of last year. I'm too lazy to take another screenshot and add it to Photobucket for the IMG code:

I've never played any Touhou games. I know about three things about the game series. Firstly, it is a bullet hell in which all the charatchers are girls, secondly "U.N. Owen was her?" is a song from the game, and lastly, Flandre is supposed to be insane. The pictured one, is Flandre.
Play them. Their awesomeness knows no bounds.

Got hopelessly addicted to Touhou a while back, and Sakuya was my favorite character so...

Here's the one I had when I clicked on the thread.

Man, that must've been an awkward date! That being said, got a link for that pic?

Well I'm very much interested in ancient history, so I always have something fitting as my desktop background. So behold, the Persian Immortals!

That being said, mine's actually a screencap of a Perioikoi phalanx (about four hundred wide, six deep), not a reform Pezoi one... *meh*

I saw this thread and realized just how boring my desktop picture was. So I changed it. It was a very blah, dark landscape photo but now well, just as bleak, yet so full of hope and innocence.

Squee!! Romantically Apocalyptic wallpaper FTW!! I had the one of the train falling off the bridge for ages, but then I got a new one.

I have this one on my PS3

And my desktop is a mess. I do music production so that's where most of it comes from. Also to the people with the sidebar that has your computer stats on it, you really don't need that unless you're troubleshooting or bench marking, otherwise it just takes up a good chunk resources.

In order to contribute to the thread, I'll post the last three backgrounds I had.

Changed this quite recently, I like my dark backgrounds

As do I, I can actually read stuff on it then. Also I really like that image, I took to google and snagged myself a copy.

I did some research a while back but noone knows where it's from. It COULD be by Bill Watterson himself, but it could just as well be fanart by someone very talented. Noone has stepped forward and claimed it.

Did you notice that the girl looked a lot like a certain other character from the comic?

I'm lazy, so I'll try and find it online.

Actually I think mine's slightly different, less thick lines and more black and yellow.

Here's mine:

It's a cover from a novel written by Slovak author Juraj Cervenak.

That guy that makes his covers (Michal Ivan) has some pretty incredible pictures.

These are the last three that have gone in my cycle ( I have about 20/25 in my cycle )

You might notice I have a thing for the post-apocalyptic themes...
