it was in a scadinavian country where things are seized before rather than after a court verdict

Sony sued LG a while back and had a brand of phones removed, LG counter-sued afterwards as they helped in the creation of blu-ray, alas for Sony, it meant that LG could potentially have PS3s removed or at least get paid for each PS3 sold. Not just in EU, but worldwide.

nothing has ended from this... They will still continue the lawsuit of sony infringing on the copyright of LG. It just means that PS3's will still be allowed to be shipped to Europe.

It was something to do with the bluray tech.

Also the whole thing about it not being allowed to be shiped in Europe anymore was exaggerated, they stopped shipping to Holland.. and since a large portion of european PS3's get imported from there, the internet went up like wildfire about how europe wont get anymore ps3's
