Never read the comic. But the premise sounds interesting & the trailor looks pretty decent. Hopefully if it has to follow the hollywood trend itl at least try to imitate The Dark Knight more than trying to imitate The Hulk (the first one)

OT: even though its impossible to tranfer the book to the screen, i am pretty sure it wont be as down-trodden as V for Vendetta was.

btw, why the fuck do people hate the first hulk movie? Ang lee gave hulk more depth instead of the old "hulk smash" and the acting was decent, so why do people hate the movie???

You just answered your own question. The Hulk is about a scientist, who turns into a "not so jolly" green giant, who goes around, breaking stuff. When people go see a Hulk movie, they want explosions, they want mindless violence, they want HULK SMASH! They don't want some psychological crap.

On Topic: I thought the book was amazing, and I've got my fingers, toes, arms, legs, and eyes crossed for the movie.

I know nothing about the comic, and the film looks pretty sweet. I intend to keep myself ignorant on the book for now, so I can't be outraged at the cinema.
