The weapon you couldn't do without

In games, you always tend to find a weapon that you go to when all others fail. A weapon that you can count on. Which one comes to mind for you when you think of your most trusted weapon/item/general power-up?

For me, it's probably my trusty Mk.2 tranquilizer pistol in MGS4. Saved my ass countless times on a no-alert playthrough.

So many times I thought I'd be ****ed and a trusty tidal-wave of shots poured into one enemy, or a satisfying splatter as you tore into them, makes this a sim favorite, right past the Assault Rifle from the original Halo. I mean, in Halo 3, it sucks ass.

I love using the shotgun in almost every game that I play. I'm also a fan of the P90.
