Snipers and shotguns. Pick em off at long range then kill the rest with a close range blast of lead to the face.

In Fallout 3 I couldn't survive without a hunting rifle.

Probally some sort of machine gun in most any game. (SMG in Half Life, Tommy Gun w/ upgrades in BioShock, G36-C in Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare, etc.)

The Alien Blaster in Fallout 3 is pretty badass for its ability to 1 or 2 shot just about everything...but I'd still probably pick a lightsaber for the ability to deflect shit and slice down walls and doors.

In all honesty, probably the command suite from Total annihilation.

With the nanolathe, I could create anything I need to, and you can change the frequency to "D-Gun" mode where it ANNIHILATES ANYTHING IN ONE HIT.

I'll skip the Molotov Cocktails, unless they are the vodka kind. But I'll certainly take an AK, whether it's war or zombie invasion time.

For extra "battlefield cred", the AK must be worn with a full set of low-tech ABC gear: gas mask, camo rubber raincoat and -pants as well as calf-length rubber boots.

Same. Best fallback weapon ever. Good for any situation, but it isn't overpowered.

In unrealistic games: Shield Gun from UT2k4. Always fun when you charge at someone with it charged, as you see them so desperately trying to get away from you

In realistic games: Bow and arrow/Sniper rifle. Take 'em down unseen.

In real life: Brains. Mine, preferably.

The shotgun. I've recently got really good at using one in CS:S and GoW2 so that's what helps.
