The Website is broken!

It may just be me, but, the front page fails to load properly and almost EVERYTHING I click on takes me to the Darkness ad. This, of coarse, also means I can't click on the nifty, yellow bar you're supposed to use to report bugs. I've had some issues with the videos loading too, but I can usually refresh and fix it. I personally don't mind it, since I can still navigate with the drop-down lists. Still, I figured I should report what was happening since this might also be happening to other people and part of the problem is not being able to use the bug report link.

I'm getting the similar issues. The site loads sporadically, and the Darkness II ad makes the entire site black, and some text is misaligned.

Trying to get anything done on the escapist on a Wednesday is like trying to get a badger to lend you money.

I can't go five minutes without the site crashing because a server cannot be found. Honestly, this is just sad. It's been crappy like this for months since before the redesign, which then only made things worse.

Same here. Before the site changed, I almost never had any problems. Now? Pages load when they damn well feel like it, and when they do load, it's not for certain that they'll load completely.

Nah, it had its problems before.
Its just a lot worse now and i don't even like the new look.

Escapist's management realized they hadn't made a terrible decision in a while and so decided to replace a site layout that worked with one that doesn't.

Nothing to worry about, just the usual symptoms of visiting a website run by people who have no idea what they're doing.
