Once again, story time. So I was playing Fable 3 and I saw the Crawler. And then I saw what he looked like.
What?
He's like... an armored shrimp. With teeth that is skin. No lips. Multiple heads. these weird spirals coming off of his head WHAT.
What is the oddest video game antagonist that you've ever seen, whether in personality or general appearance?
Oh yeah, and also Victor Valente from the Darkness 2 because he looks like Freddy Krueger's meth addict brother

Mirror B from pokemon Colosseum and gale of darkness.

Him and his pokemon are all dancing during battle. The whole thing is totally insane, but awesome.

Wow... Mirror B came to my mind first, too. Let's go with Barkley's Shut up and Jam: Gaiden's interpretation of Michael Jordan, a ruthless anti-B-ball inquisitioner after Barkley for revenge. Also, he wears a sick pimp suit.

Not main antagonist but this whole thing was pretty fucking weird
Also some would say that King of all Cosmos is his own antagonist...I mean he is the reason for the destruction of the world

Weird design, personality, or just, "That's...odd."

If it's design, I say Alma from Ninja Gaiden. I just don't understand what's going on there. The hair, the outfit.

Personality is probably Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid. That whole fight was different to say the least. Although I just picked up Lollipop Chainsaw and I understand those bosses are their own brand of crazy.

As for just straight up odd, I'd have to say the second form of the spider boss in The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight. I thought it was a joke at first, and then I beat it, and I could not figure out what had just happened. I had to go look it up.

I have to say King Dedede.

I mean...he's a penguin. In a royal scarlet coat. Wielding a bloody mallet.

I'll throw in Marx from Kirby Super Star. It's a weird cat head wearing big shoes, a jester hat, and technicolor demon wings.

Well the Gaping Dragon in Dark Souls is pretty much the epitomy of WTF?! bosses/antagonists. Seriously, it's an undead dragon that attacks with its own split open vagina-esque ribcage. It's the easiest boss in the game since you can easily dodge everything and still have time to get up and make a cup of tea before it attacks again. The proper ribcage smash attack where it kinda eats you through its broken chest pretty much instakills you considering how much health you would have in that part of the game. If it connects that is.

Probably a women related metaphor that boss. I ain't touching that one though...

Also Star Child in ME3. Come on Bioware, couldn't you leave the emotional punch at the start as simply that instead of stupid foreshadowing? Did you have to throw that kid in at the end for no reason? He could be replaced by a different unrelated hologram and it would make no difference

It's like Bioware stopped taking their good writing pills on the day the ending was written. Then ingested paint fumes.

DMC3 has the one towards the end where it's just a blob with occasional tentacle attacks. Then it summons a load of sharks to attack you... The fuck?

I am so sure it's meant to be a "boss" in name only once you start tag teaming with Vergil. It's just so badass... I still can't beat it for fucks sake! Stop being so cool!

Inb4 you have to fight Vergil. Again. Kinda obvious in that the first thing he says is "I have come to retrieve my power" He hasn't used the swords yet. UMVC3 decrees he must summon swords in a boss fight at some point in the game.

Ugh. This guy.

Not really an antagonist in the traditional sense, but you can't deny what a jerk he is.

Or that he's SUPER weird.

Ghirahim from Skyward Sword.

Just...what? He isn't the major antagonist, but he's the one you're chasing through about 98% of the game.
He is a fine mixture of being flamboyant, creepy and weird looking. Not exactly something I would expect Legend of Zelda to have as a major baddie.

GlaDOS, because lets face it. The assistant to a crazy billionare is placed inside a computer, which then turns homicidal and kills everything in sight. She then proceeds to test the survivors in various ways until you come along and have to stop her. Yeah that's pretty weird.

Ozma from Final Fantasy IX

What a weird boss that is.

HE WEARS A THONG
END DISCUSSION

Least Ozma doesn't look like he isn't going to start a erotic strip tease with his Dragon Mount

Pffft, that's nothing. That effeminate sissy pales in comparison to the manly weirdness of ...

Just skip to around 6:00 for the most amazing display of buff, greased-up, axe-throwing undead Sean Connery-lookalike you'll ever see.

I might automatically be disqualified just for having played God Hand (GAMING HIPSTER LVL UP!) but I can go even weirder than that and nominate Neff, the main antagonist from Altered Beast back on Sega Genesis. (GAMING HIPSTER LVL UP!)

So dig this; he'd show up periodically throughout a given level shooting lightning out of his sides (the arm on his lightning-ing side was clearly holding his toga up), he wouldn't transform into one of his five boss forms until after you had ran into enough blue balls to catch fire and transform into a werewolf/weredragon/werebear/weretiger/different werewolf, and at this point it's worth mentioning that if you can manage to transform as early as possible he'll transform right there, but if you don't he'll wait like a fucking DBZ villain, at which point he'll yell "WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM" which is something video games did not do yet.

He is literally all five bosses, and those bosses are as follows;

1. A giant with no legs that rips his regenerating heads off to throw at you

2. a giant fucking venus flytrap ************ full of eyeballs
2b. that fly out in a swarm and now it's a bullet hell game all of a sudden

3. a chinese dragon snail who'd hide like a ***** but you could totally jump into his shell and wreck his shit

4. fuck I don't even remember some kind of dragon fetus thing?

5. a purple rhino furry who's superpower was running back and forth and punching and kicking.
5b. this was the final boss and his superpower was punching and kicking
5c. WHAT THE FUCK

And when he died he'd explode into smoke but when you killed purple final furry rhino form he'd explode and then Athena would fly out in bird form and then turn into her lady form and I guess you banged her while the credits were rolling or some shit.

This was the second video game I ever owned. I think I was 9.

What was that game on the Source Engine where you were a bizarrely stretchy dude who had to fight his mentally retarded brother and equally insane family?

I'm gonna go with Sniper Team's set up here.

Personality Wise: Girahim. This guy either wants to murder you horribly, touch you inappropriatly or both....probably both.
Personality Wise: Psycho Mantis. I fucking love this guy but his entire fight is a giant and classic mindfuck.

Design Wise: Shadow Kanji......just......ugh

Overal WTF'ness; Super Dimentio. What the heck was up with this guy. He has a giant luigi hat and just gives a overall sense of wtf.
