Not sure of the name, but fear of realtors.

Seriously, though. Atomosphobia, fear of atomic explosions is pretty weird. So is Doraphobia, fear of animal skins or hides. Also, Peladophobia, fear of bald people. And there's Levo and Dextrophobia, fear of things to the leaf and right of the body, respectively.

Hippomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. The fear of long words. I shit you not, look it up.
That's what I was gonna say. Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia. I think the word was invented as a joke.
How about anemophobia, the fear of wind. Scary.

It's not the wierdest one, but I like Kinemortophobia, which is a phobia of zombies :)
thats not weird from how our science department is advancing well be eating each other by 2012
Must... resist... obvious joke.

Also, I'm pro-cannibalism so long as the person dies naturally instead of being murdered. So, yeah, not necessarily zombies.

OT: I don't know the phobia terms, but I know one person who's afraid of cheese and another who's afraid of wooden puppets. The cheese guy isn't even lactose intolerant or anything. Just freaks out around cheese. I've never understood it.

I knew a guy while back who was literally terrified of butterflies. Like, shit in your pants when he saw them scared. haha it was hilarious to watch.
As weird as it would seem, that would be 'psychophobia'! ('Psyche' being Greek for butterfly...)

hellenophobia (fear of anything Greek!)

I've seen Saw, but I still regard the puppet as nothing more than a tool for the killer. The puppet itself isn't evil, just kind of creepy-looking. Also, he's had that phobia since he was a kid, so about a decade and a half before the first Saw was even made. Apparently, it started with some old kids tv show.

The biggest problem I have against cannibalism is that people practicing it run the risk of catching Kolo (I think that's the name) which turns people insane.

OT: I'm not sure of the name, but I have a fear (somewhat) of living forever.

Anatidaephobia ? fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you (Derived from the word Anatidae, which is the family contain ducks, and the suffix -phobia).

A lot of weird phobias out there, I guess with 6.5 billion people alive at any given moment, there's likely to be some weird ones.
