the real trick to this perk set is to get a care package marker and only hold it no use it, then you run like the fucking wind and knife everyone. you get a tactical nuke with only a knife and everyone hates you. its amazing.
It doesn't work well on free-for-all, my preferred mode, I was basically gunned down by most people. Fun though.
It's fun but man do people get mad after a while. It's not as bad as when I had a thumper, an ACR with a grenade launcher, and scavenger pro though. I refilled my grenade launcher rounds at every dead body so I could just continuously noob tube everyone. Holy crap i got like, 8 messages threatening to disembowel me that one week alone. It was awesome.
After reading this I tried this very build ... on free-for-all ... and the map changed to rusted.
For those who don't know/if I spelt the map name wrong, it is a tiny little map with 6-8 people running around on it, you spawn and a second later you see at least one other person ... BTW I was going pretty well on that map, and I really like that build.

Commando is longer range on knife kills (Makes you do a lunge kinda like the sword in halo) and pro gives no falling damage. I generally don't ever use it on team games. As attacking more than one person is suicide, but a small map like scrapyard or rust- Its very effective, and fun. I'll probly try Akimbo 1870's but hav't unlocked them yet. Twin rangers are good though.
I have a class set up like this, it works even better on 3rd person. I've kinda stopped knifing people now though, if I'm running around and some guy comes out of nowhere I'll knife him, but a lot of the time I usually end up at the back of the opposing base, so I just place a TI and use a silenced Uzi. I could knife them, but I'm close enough to shoot so I don't see the point a lot of the time, and even if I am reaaaaalllyyy up in their grill, I have 2 shotguns so... :|
I was doing this in CoD4, had like a 20+ game winning streak with it in FFA. Ended only because I missed shooting people, not because I lost. Still, I killed faster with guns than with the knife, it's just fun to own them without using a gun. Used the juggernaut perk, silent run, and longer-sprint perks.
The main problem was people who don't see me, but are moving forward too fast for me to get in range so I'm forced to just follow them until they slow down. I ended up using stun grenades and smacking them with a direct hit. A direct grenade hit freezes their legs temporarily so I can charge forward and stab. The stun of the grenade doesn't really hamper knifing.

you know I haven't played COD MW 2 yet but I read the article on penny arcade and just invisioned entire servers clustered full of idiot kids using this on each other...Goombanator said:

regardless its a bad omen that this combo has already been figured out and broadcast to the masses for them to try, kind of makes me want to wait until everyone has forgotten about "the witch" then try the game
