I honestly haven't been this excited for a game in... hell, years. Everything I continue to read and learn about the game only makes me anticipate it all the more.

HOLY SHIT!
Stop the video at 2:18, read the large amount of text.

I particularly liked the last bit, which had three 'PS' notes:

"PS3...It will also happen one day ;)"

All but confirms a console version in the works for our console gaming brethren.

Something that stood out for me in the trailer, the main hero actually running away from enemies like dragons, which makes total sense, and makes me feel like he's going to have vulnerabilities and feel more real.

So often in RPGs, you're faced with an enemy one step down from a god, who's a hundred feet tall with nine heads and wielding a 30 ft club, and you stand there waiting for him to take his best shot. That's kinda wierd.

Screw that, I'm gonna run away, and maybe try to think of a way to take him down that doesn't involve me taking a tree in the face.

It looks very very good, however I am not entirely sure it was such a good idea to release it...the same time as L.A Noire.

I'll play it, but it will have to wait. I didn't enjoy the first one so much anyway, Geralt was kind of a ponce and the gameplay was confusing and over-cooked (except for the actual combat, that was just dull clicking). This looks much better anyway, I also hope it's not so exploitative when it comes to female characters, the first game got a little silly with that too.

which actually end with Geralt dying leading to one of the prevalent mysteries in The Witcher (game) being how he's alive. A mystery I suspect The Witcher 2 will answer since the trailers tease at it.
Didn't Geralt get recovered from a rather unexplained event and everyone thought he was dead?
Or did I completely forget what happened in there?
(Or maybe I didn't get far enough to get the answer)

I think he got killed in some battle by a farmer with a pitchfork or something. His dwarf friend saw him get nailed. And yes, what was said in reply to my post about the book is correct, I remember reading The Last Wish, which was an interesting if short Witcher novel.
