I'm pretty much just eager to see what CDProjekt does next. The advancements from Witcher 1 to 2 were amazing, especially considering those are their only games so far. Can't wait to see what 3 turns out like with more experience under their belts and engine development out of the way.

More branching options, more diversity in your opponents. Perhaps more monster hunting side missions that require research and planning, those were fun. And of course a conclusion to the story. Three games is enough, let's finally stop with the teasing and get to the overhanging plot of the first two games with Yennefer and the Wild Hunt.

A character creator.

That is the single most significant thing I would want to see.
Wouldn't really be The Witcher then however, although the idea of another game set in the Witchers universe where you create a unique character would be interesting. Perhaps with a wholly new story where your character is from some obscure Witcher school yet unseen? That could work as a spin-off game.

A UI that's meant for M+KB, thinned down itemization, and no or minimal (like TW1) crafting.

I want to simply spend orens, not drag around timber.

Seems they're going in the right direction with the Witcher 3 in every aspect so far, please don't mess anything up, your ideas are great so far! The one element you haven't showed so far is the story, and that is great, because we want to experience it for ourselves, but my main concern would be, to make it memorable, not shallow in any way, have depth to all the stuff you do in the game, you know, a reason, no fetch quests or anything of that meaningless sort please.

Oh yeah 1 thing that definitively needs improvement are the character models, by that I mean the models of the NPCs, please don't make them all look the same this time around, I'm not saying make them all different because that's impossible (I don't know, if it isn't... do it!) but at least don't have any of the same looking NPCs at the same spot, it just looks bad, and make more of the different ones, this also goes for monsters, make them vary in some way, cloth, scars, body structure, something. And of course optimize the graphics/engine so my PC doesn't die when I run the game. :)

I want to drink potions IN COMBAT again!
I only drank potions three or four times throughout the second game, but I was a total potion-junkie in the first.

It might be slightly unrealistic (dig through your bag, pull out the right potion, pop the cork, and take a swig, all while something's swinging a sword/axe/giant claws/tentacles at you) but I think changing it really detracted from its usefulness.
Naah, see, that's what all those armor/belt pouches and pockets are for!

Allow us to quickslot 6-10 potions, then press a button (combination) to pick one right then and there

Edit: in fact, potion slots could be an attribute that differs from armor to armor! Do you want general combat efficiency, or a few more potions to turn around any uniquely bad situations?

I'd personally be happy with a larger version of TW2 - perhaps with more branching. More to explore and larger landscapes would be nicer. I'd also like to see more monsters. If flashbacks come back...I want them playable!!
I like the idea of a solid narrative coupled with diverse places to see, but I saw an interview talking about plans to make the game thirty times larger than Skyrim?

Being able to explore is one thing, but I'd hate to see them follow the formula of quantity over quality.

It's 30 times bigger than TW2 not Skyrim...

Heheh, Lord I'm an idiot for misstating that...

Though my wariness of "bigger is better" still stands.

I'd like to see potions as pocket items, perhaps with reduced effects if taken outside of meditation. That way, TW3 could keep the preparation angle from the second game, but with some of the combat versatility from the first. I'd also like to see a bigger emphasis on monster hunting as a natural part of the experience rather than as specific, one-time quests, with some additional challenge. Monsters ought to be particularly tough enemies, even the minor ones.

For the most part, it seems that TW3 (based on announcements and other information) is doing a lot of the things I'd already ask for. The combat seems to be getting an upgrade again, this time down more of a strategic, deliberate path.

Captcha: love life. I do love it when Captcha has a sense of humour.
