The Witcher Comes To Consoles

I read about this on another site, and saw the vid. The Witcher has been heralded as an epic rpg - its nice to see it come to consoles. I for one believe that RPGs play better on consoles - the controls are better and more fluency and accuracy with movement.

Hopefully they won't mess up the combat system, as they say it will be "entirely new", and the fact that the main developers of this port (you can bet the "core" cdproject team will not be very large) created Fame Academy: Dance Edition doesn't exactly make me think "experience with creating RPG combat systems". Then again, every developer needs to start somewhere.

Well...it may be okay, cause they have less controls to worry about. How many games are there that have ported from PC to console? As far as I remember everything is usually the other way around (console > pc)

If it was anyone but CD Projekt i'd agree, but they releases a 2 gb patch/remake of their game, resold it, and let people who bought the first title get the update for FREE. They've already made this game TWICE.
