First off I know it was quite short considering the amount of time it took but lets try and keep this topic about what you liked/disliked about what happened in the game and not on the length of the game and the 3 month wait ok.

Now as for what I thought:
I really enjoyed it. I was surprised how much I hated Georgie the second I saw him. Up until that point I had been playing Bigby as someone who tried to keep violence to a minimum but that slezy piece of shit had it coming. Not only did I kick the crap out of him but I trashed his entire club.

Then I think part of my childhood died when it was revealed that the little mermaid was a stripper and a hooker. But then I imagine that was why Telltale picked her.

Another thing that caught me by surprise was how happy it made me feel when it was revealed that Beauty was not stripping or hooking like I suspected. She just seems like too nice of a person for such bad things to happen to. And Beast seems like a nice guy (when he is not angry anyway) so it was nice to know that neither of them had to deal with that.

And as for the Crane business I don't think he is the killer. It seems a little to convenient with the whole headless horseman background. That being said I hope he gets a good arse kicking soon because the dude is fucked up.

As for who I think the killer is right now, my money would be on Bluebeard. Something about that guy is just off.

You already put up "Spoiler" in the title so I'm not going to worry with a spoiler box.
Anyway.
I thought it was pretty cool. They really rack up the pressure on you in some spots, the interrogations and talking to TJ, you were *really* thinking about your options and what they were going to do.
I had a bit of a jaw drop when talking to Narissa because I finally figured out the "These lips are sealed thing". I will put this in a spoiler box because I got $5 says they'll reveal this in a later episode, not to mention it's also in the comic, which is the only reason I figured it out:
I'm getting a *strong* feeling that the ribbon is keeping them quiet. There's magic applied to the ribbon that keeps them from talking about work and they can't take it off themselves or drop any hints that they're under a spell. That's the theory anyway, something like that happened in the comic so I'm just thinking here.
As for Crane, yeah, he's a scumbag but I don't think he killed anyone.

I felt dirty by the end of the episode. The second half of the episode just felt so scuzzy.
Crane is one creepy fucker, but i don't believe he killed Lily. Someone is definitely setting this up and i think it might be the one Dee and Dum are working for.
Is it just me or did anyone feel like this episode derailed the main story a bit? Probably because of their big rewrite.

Hopefully episode 3 doesn't take 4? months to get released. They'll kill the pacing of the game if they don't at least release the episodes within a month or 2 apart.

Disappointing. As a narrative experience, it's good. But it's very light on the puzzley/detectivey/super-important-decision-makingey stuff, at least compared to the first episode. It's also very short (not rushing, I completed it in about an hour). And considering the four month wait, I'm pretty frustrated with Tell-Tale right now.

Alec Meer over at Rock Paper Shotgun pretty much nailed in his review of the episode. I still have high hopes for the rest of the series, but my hype has been dampened.

Favorite bits:
The Nice Guy/Bad Wolf choices: Mainly the interrogation of Dee (or was it Dum?) and questioning Georgie.

Least favorite bits:
Nothing an iota as good as the investigation at Toads house in ep 1 (they attempt it at the end of Smoke and Mirrors, but it's super telegraphed).

The Beauty and Beast stuff, especially Beast. Just felt really clunky and a poor excuse to have an action sequence.

I'm glad that Beauty wasn't stripping as the trailer for this episode led me to believe. But the big conclusion for Beauty and Beast was terrible, felt like Beast was a tsundere from some anime.

The investigation was crap, fighting was boring, and overall not as good as the first episode. I just wonder how long they're going to tease Bigby's big bad wolf form.

I'm not sure if it had quite the strength of pacing that the first episode had, and I wasn't really a fan of how quickly they resolved the Snow White cliffhanger, but I still enjoyed it.

The line "Stop Laughing At Me," has me intrigued. It all gives the feeling of setting the stage for bigger things to come. Like the subplot with the Crooked Man, and giving us an excuse to break more of Georgie's crap.

They did get a couple of subplots out of the way. Hopefully things are smoothed out now.

I always try to play the nice guy wherever possible, and when a game tries to force me to NOT be a nice guy, I'm not happy. There were a few spots where the TWAU came very, very close to that line, which was uncomfortable. I was getting the feeling that my usual full paragon run wouldn't get the same results that choosing an occasional renegade option could.

I was severely disappointed...it felt lacking in comparison to the standard that Episode 1 had set.

Despite being a narrative experience, I do hope that the investigation scenes gather a greater amount of depth in the future. The conclusion to Beauty's subplot had little pay off (I appreciate that nothing explicitly bad happened to her) but I thought me taking her side would have some serious ramifications.

I do feel that this episode is setting up even greater plot elements and don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable, it just felt more restricted as a whole.

If I had to wheel out one nitpicky complaint: Those teaser clips for the next episode.

Episode 1 showed me scenes that presumably occur later in the series. Some might appreciate this. But I appreciate being shown content from the next episode only.

I guess "rushed" would summarise my impression of it. Not just the length, but the relative simplicity of it all. Most of the scenes which had an investigative branch were literally just selecting everything in sight, it didn't really require any searching or any conclusions to base upon what you found (like with Mr Toad in the first one).

It was interesting, but I am hoping it was supposed to be tying up certain story lines in order to have a large next episode. Although I suspect they are simply pushing themselves too thin as a company, seeing how many projects they seem to be trying to run.

It kinda has the problem a lot of detective stories have where they can't be TOO clever so Bigby and the player both can't work it out.

Like, Crane is patently not going to be the killer, not least because he has no motivation to off Faith but if he has an obsession with Snow, killing his outlet won't help and especially not in a way that falls outside his fantasy. Bluebeard, while it is his MO, doesn't make sense either, he kills his WIVES not hookers. At the moment it's either two seperate murders with the Crooked Man killing Faith for the item he wants (dubious because the Tweedles, scumbags though they may be, aren't straight up killers) and Crane killing Snow because... no real motive. Incidentally, these two seperate crimes both used an item that was either incredibly sharp or magical.

I'd like to give Telltale more credit, the Stranger at the end of the Walking Dead was a great surprise, but I feel it's either going to be a background character (like the ginger guy in the hallway in Episode 1) we haven't been introduced to yet or something out of left field.

Pretty poor overall.
Still not bad, but i have grown to expect more from Telltale.
There was actually a little joke on the telltale forum that i think might actually be true.
There were several analyses of the first episode on the telltale forums and most of them came to the conclusion that the red haired guy that randomly shows up in the episode has a lot to do with the case.
You stumble across him in the hall when talking to snow, he's standing in front of the mayors office, he lies "unconcious" in the way while you chase Dee and he's suspected to be the taxi driver both in the first scene and when you see snow the last time in the episode.
Based on his appearance people also concluded that he is the Boy who cried wolf, since he has shepards crooks on his tie.
They thought he might want to get revenge on bigby for what happened in their stories.
So a few people joked that telltale may be rewriting the whole story because people figured out the conclusion too soon.
It sounds rediculous, but i honestly can't think of another reason why the episode would feel so rushed after such a long wait.

As to why i think that the episode feels rushed?
No Choice. Not matter what you say the characters always seem to reply the exact same way, without variation in text. How you do things doesn't matter also.
Even if your really really nice to your prisoner, snow still shouts at you for being an Asshole.
"I wasn't Snow. I actually fought Bluebeard to keep him from harm, YOU SAW THAT!"
Of course the fact plays into this that there aren't any realy choices either like in Episode 1.
Overall i am pretty dissapointed by Telltale. They clearly can't handle multiple projects at once. The Walking dead episode 1 was dissapointingly short and so is The Wolf among us episode 2.

I didn't notice that whilst chasing Dee, but I did notice that he was the cabbie. I'm going to have to replay Episode 1 and see if he keeps coming around.

what you might not know is the episode changed alot from what it originally was supposed to which caused the lengthy delay. there's a pretty great theory on how the episode was rewritten because people figured out who the killer was over on telltales forums. The episode was rushed, lots of scenes seemed to be missing, the mundy cops were written out of the story (that woman cop was originally seen on the episode 3 slide which has been changed), scenes felt disjointed, snow returned way too early, no prince lawence, the fight with beast happened for no reason and nothing from the teaser we got from episode one was actually in the episode. that there's alot of evidence that this episode was completey redone in a small amount of time, leaving us a really rushed, glitchy, short episode. i still enjoyed it but no where near as good as the first episode.

I didn't notice it in my playground either, but saw it on a screenshot in the thread on the telltale forums.
He just lies there like a passed out drunk and bigby just jumps over him without noticing.

Nah i don't think someone glamored him.
He most likely just has a thing for snow, but knows she would never go for him.
So he hired a hooker to pose as snow. Creepy, but not really criminal.
It also explains why he took so much effort into the investigation (Using really expensive magic to get Bigby to work on it as soon as possible) when he thought the murder killed snow.
