It's quite simple... Platinum Games knows their shit. They have consistently created unique and interesting IPs, and this title looks to do the same. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

When was the last time we saw a developer go as completely bonkers when it comes to melding different gameplay ideas and genres together? This looks like the sort of innovation we gamers are constantly crying out for, and yet it is criminally underreported in the gaming press.
I don't know, for all it's antics, the gameplay looks very solid and focused. It's essentially another Platinum brawler, but with a twist.Casual Shinji said:It looks funny, I guess, in that "look how over the top for the sake of over the top we are" kind of way. But it doesn't look like something I'd want to play for more than half an hour before getting tired of its ADHD antics.

I hear money isn't very popular anymore.NameIsRobertPaulson said:I do hope that Platinum continues releasing games for PS4 (and Xbone I guess). Not sure why Sony and Microsoft dropped Bayonetta 2. Perhaps they're afraid of having too much money.Mr.K. said:That is looking pretty sweet, now if only Platinum figured out that porting games thing we would have a wonderful combination.
IIRC, SEGA published the original, didn't bother picking it up for a sequel and that's when Nintendo swooped in and gave them all the monies to make it.NameIsRobertPaulson said:I do hope that Platinum continues releasing games for PS4 (and Xbone I guess). It will be giant robots and super sentai that win this console war.Arcadian Legend said:This and Monolith Soft's "X" look like the hypest shit imaginable. Those two games alone are a real convincing argument for me to get a Wii U, nevermind Bayonetta 2 and the obvious slew of 1st party titles being made, announced or unannounced. I'm actually having a hard time deciding what I should get first between the PS4 and the Wii U. Guess it just comes down to which one releases the games I want first.
[small]Still a bit sore about the fact that Retro Studio's mystery title wasn't Metroid and there was nothing about SMT X FE though.[/small]
