Courtesy of IGN's podcast community, brought to my attention by friends, and now I share it with you all.
I quite like it. It does capture that melancholy feeling of the end game, not to mention the excitement of the journey. Hell, I like the song despite it's decidedly non-Metal or classical style, which is quite rare.

Wow. That's pretty damn accurate haha. I'm pretty sure that now I'm gonna spread this around to people I know.

As one of my friends said, "and people don't get why we play videogames" Haha. On facebook it now has kind of a daisy chain with this video. A friend of mine posted it, another "shared it via that friend", I shared it via him and now another friend shared it via me.

This is now my personal anthem. If someone asks me why I'm a gamer, I'll just show them and continue to save the world!

That was my thought too. I've already lost count of the amount of times I've listened to this song. Perfectly captures the feel of finishing those particularly epic games, it's amazing.

This is so far the best capturing of why a huge chunk of us play videogames. Yeah, a lot of it is competition. But hey, who here loved Bastion and will most likely continue buying Halo games simply for the Epic it has created or owns all the Fable games just because?

I for one, don't give a damn about whether or not Halo Reach, 3, 4, etc will play any different. I know that Fable 2 and 3 are essentially expansion packs. You know why I still have them? This damn song will tell you.

This video... It made me happy. It captured my mentality about gaming. I don't just wanna see the world get saved. I wanna see the sights along the way, delve deep into new worlds and cultures that are outside the boundaries of regular, everyday life.

This video... Is win.

This is rather amazing, at first I wasn't sure but by the end I got shivers. So perfect.

Also a great argument for people who don't get why MMOs are popular when there isn't a definitive end to any of it, they can provide one hell of a fucking ride.

I had to pause the vid halfway through because I was about to play some Borderlands with my friend and his brother

then I came back to listen to the awesome part. I feel so good about myself right now. Thank you, song.

of course, something touching and uplifting that can bring people together don't get much attention in this forum

yelling at people who like something other than you is so much easier, after all

This. So very much this. "Game Over" is just the last page on the story I helped write in my mind as I played. It's as much the journey as the destination.

That song is awesome and I can't stop listening to it.
