Is it a mod? A flash game? An indie? A flopped big-budget game? Where can I find it? How much does it cost? What genre is it? Why do I need to play a CoD campaign after? AAAAAAHHHHH!
"The Stanley Parable" is a mod for Half-Life 2 that delivers a metacommentary on choice and narrative in video games. It's really, really good, and you can play through all of the possible paths in about half an hour. One of the points it tries to make is that games that try to promote themes of individuality and freedom are somewhat undermined when the design forces you along a linear path. I assume that the OP is criticizing MW3 for failing to take that into account.
