I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. The only reason I have a PS3 is for the exclusives. Most of my gaming is done on my PC or 360. However, the PS3 exclusives (particularly Uncharted) are so good that I don't regret purchasing the console. Plus it functions as my blu-ray player.

And there's one thing I love about the PSN movie downloading service much better than Live...you can rent movies on the PSN. But in my opinion, that's the only good thing about Sony's movie downloading service. I will never actually buy one, because you can only ever download it once. If you delete it to free up space on your hard drive, you'll have to buy it all over again.
Really? are you sure? I have alot of ATHF episodes and some movies on my PS3. My HDD is getting full and I was thinking about dumping them.

My Q list for the PS3 on gamefly is 38 games long not including the 3 that I own.

If you'd like I can send you a PM or post it here.

Gamefly + PS3 is pretty damn fulfilling :).

I'd get the Ps3. You can find at least 5 games you'll love. I guarantee it.
This is the best advice methinks :).

I feel your pain. The PS3 is a good console but the limited *good* exclusives are few and far in between. The few that exist are amazing though, like Fat Princes, Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted but their isn't a real line up to it. Now if Sony could find other publishers and developers outside itself and actually built games that the machine was designed for, using 100% of the Cell processor and the Blu-ray capability, we will get somewhere.

Whereas with the 360, well, already they are chock full of plans with Fable 3, Gears of War 3, Halo: Reach, Halo 3: ODST, Mass Effect 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and the frankly amazing Alan Wake. However, it can be argued that if you have a mid/high end PC you can at least run half of these titles (some are 360 only though). Whereas PS3 exclusives are really PS3 exclusives and they tend to take their own sweet time in getting to players. Perhaps that the reason why the 360 Red Rings so often, its working all the damn time!.

I guess it comes down to what you want from the PS3. It is a great entertainment system as well as a great console but if your flavor of games is the Microsoft variety then save the money and stick to the 360, alternatively, upgrade your computer and wait for Diablo 3.
Your forgetting PS3 also has:
Little Big Planet
Metal Gear Solid 4
Infamous
Demon's Soul
God of War 3
Heavy Rain
The Last Guardian
Uncharted 2
Resistance 1&2
MotorStorm 1&2

Well, to be fair to Sony on this one, you can call their customer service and request them to let you re-download your movies. They will grant you a one time only exception. It really is one time only though. If you end up deleting them a second time, customer service will say you have to buy them again.

As with any console, it's all about what games you are looking to play.
If you want to game a new moniter, I might assume you play PC, if not I would suggest you get into PC gaming, it'll probably be easy for you to find games you are interested in.
Since the PS3 is so hard for developers to write for, it's got a lack of games, (in comparison to Wii, PC and 360).
This is not an arguable statement because even a Sony rep knew that the PS3 was difficult to write for.
If you wait just a little longer, there should be some good releases later this year, but as of now, your best bet would be to get a new moniter and go into PC gaming.

(I own a 360, Wii, PS3 and PC, so I know what I'm talking about, somewhat.)

I wasn't forgetting anything!. From the OP I figured that LBP, Infamous and Uncharted would be his/her favorite type of games, since Japaneses titles were excluded. OP also specified that MGS 4 was not his/her favorite title so I saw little need for mentioning that and who plays Motorstorm?.
