Funniest April Fools prank I've seen in a while actually happened back in 2009 in Australia when the Herald Sun newspaper announced that a Chinese construction company had won a bid to rename the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The funny part was reading all the jingoistic raging posted by racist fuckwads on the paper's website.

Okay, maybe it wasn't that funny (guess it showed our true colours), but then again I do have a fairly warped sense of humour. . .

Personally I'm hoping to God that this is one, but I suspect not.

As for actual pranks, I avoid contact with the human race on April 1st if at all possible.
