Nintendo 64, although at the time, it was my parents who bought it.

I had to choose between that console and a PS1, and I've been stupid enough to think that 64 bits mattered more than a great library of games. I won't say that the N64 was all bad, it was just excessively pale compared to PSOne. Squaresoft was at its apex, Gran Turismo was revolutionary, Armored Core was offering so much customization, etc. Took me more than a year of babysitting to be able to buy a PlayStation :p

However, Perfect Dark is in my top 10 of all time, (although the framerate was horrible), Killer Instinct Gold is also in that top 10, Mario 64 was an undeniable pioneer and is still fun today and, even though I'm not a fan, Zelda Ocarina of Time was one heck of a game.

It's a toss up between the Gamegear and the 360 for me.

The Gamegear was just terrible on every count, not least it's unstoppable battery habit. In the end it became a home console as it was permanently wired up to the mains.

The 360 was great, until it broke. the second one was great, until it broke too. The refund was a lot better.
I'm one of those people who expects something to work or takes it back, so the 360 has some pretty fundamental floors for me. It stil wasn't as bad as the Gamegear though.
The Gamegear was immense! :p

I'm sure my one's lying around somewhere... Sonic calls.

The Wii, I told mum to not buy it but what does she do? Does anyone know If I can trade it in to get a discount on a game for another console anywhere?

The PS2. It seemed like it broke every other week.
Great games though. I miss Ico.

Yea. At least the 360 has good games, but I'm not buying one until they fix that rrod problem.

I would have to say the Turbographix 16 is my least favorite. It had two good games: Bonk & Splatterhouse.

I think this thread is just made to have a go at the Wii, though I'm not complaining. Bought the stupid thing just for Brawl and that turned out to be the biggest let down ever, plus all the games on the virtual console look alot more appealing than anything I see on the shelf or the bargain bin!
nope, i asked the question because people have their own ghost stories of consoles they bought that they thought were rubbish

other wise i would have said i hated the wii, in my opinion its not the worst console ever made, it had its moments to be fair
Well if I wanted to be technical the Wii is actually one of the best consoles but the game line-up is just shit! What other console has a worse game line-up?

I don't see that as a positive. :p

I'd have to say Wii. PSP isn't all that great, but I at least thought it was using its potential.

Definitely the Dreamcast. I have to admit, I'm quite a Nintendo fan-boy and in my honest opinion, they've made the best console every generation. By a long shot. Actually, MegaDrive vs. SNES is fairly close. Point is, I'm getting side tracked...

Easily the Dreamcast. The only games I ever enjoyed playing were the Crazy Taxi games. And tht was probably because I was a die hard Offspring fan at the time.

The 360. I'm on my third one. though microsoft keeps replacing them, I'm kinda getting sick of it. It has great games though, some of the best coop fun around. The console that I hate most is the wii, but I didn't buy it, so it doesn't count.

PS1, You could constantly heard the disk spinning in the tray and the memory cards were huge.

PSP, because it took me 3 units to get one that didn't have dead pixels and when I bought it shortly after launch there was barely any games out for it.

Toss up between the Virtual Boy and the Gamecube, both of them had very few games that interested me and I've never touched them again since I put them down and both have made me hate Nintendo.
