If we're going to go by games that we actually own, then for me it's a stalemate between Borderlands, Crysis and Bioshock. All three were boring and repetitive, all three had crap stories. I think Borderlands was the worst though because the NPC's never actually moved, and there were only about 3 different enemies in the whole game. That and the ending was a massive anti climax. And I had such high hopes for Borderlands too. I really WANTED to like it, and that's why it's the worst.
I actually own all three of these games, I usually don't buy a game unless a friend of mine buys it first and convinces me to play it, so I haven't played many games I actually hated, but Borderlands was really bad. It had a lame story, boring NPCs, boring quests, and a TERRIBLE ending.

As for Bioshock and Crysis... I enjoyed both games to the point that I also bought Bioshock 2 and plan to get Crysis 2.

Game Room, for the Xbox 360, I thought that was really bad, you had to spend a hit load of Microsoft points to actually play and progress in it and get achievements, terrible.

Did nobody here play Target Terror for the Wii? I only rented it, like 90% of the Wii games I've played, but may ass still felt ravaged for having spent 10 bucks on the rental. Or better yet, (and about the same game) did anybody play the Aerosmith game for the PSX where you fought terrorism with the power of ROCK!!! It was as bad as it sounds.

I once had to review a game called Bus Simulator, which was awful.

However, another game I had to review called Fort Zombie was worse.

What sort of idiot main character can't walk and shoot at the same time.

Or walk faster than a zombie.

Or spends 10 seconds looking at an item before picking it up.

The game was just terrible.

If anyone is THAT interested. I can post my review...
huh, I started reading this post halfway down and thought you were talking about RE5 :/

Halo is the only game I've actually stopped in the middle of, said "this is stupid" and never went back, so by default that makes it the worst game I've ever played (not to mention the utter shit dumbing down and other stuff it has brought to the FPS genre). Another one, think it was Call of Duty United Offensive would just not progress if I didn't do stuff their way. Like, I picked up a rocket launcher early for when they tanks appeared instead of waiting, but then they never came since I already had it. Another part I tried to flank the enemy instead of just running through gun fire, well, it decided to not progress, again, so the same enemy kept coming over the same fence forever. So, guess I'll throw that in there too since I quit because I got sick of having to redo the same part 2-3 times...

The worst game I've played was one on the N64. It was a fighting game. I don't remember what it was called, but I think one of the fighters was named "Gore". Not Goro, this wasn't Mortal Kombat.
Was one of the fighters like an arabian guy with a turban?
And the character select was so broken it would always choose the wrong character? I think i vaguely remember my cousin having it.
I don't remember a lot of details about the game. I seem to remember there being at least two female characters, and I think it had a Tekken-style 3d map system. Also, you used the yellow C-buttons to attack and block and such.
You're Thinking of Mace the Dark Ages. It had a hidden fighter that was a giant chicken. For me it's this game.

People who call Fallout 3 the weakest of the series have obviously never played this game.

...Ah, crap. The ones I was going to suggest are already on the page.

Well, for what it's worth, Hour of Victory and Ragdoll Kung-Fu were pieces of crap. Maybe not the Worst Games Ever Made, but somewhere in the running. Fuzion Frenzy 2 has them beat in terms of overall horrible-ness, though...your mileage may vary, but why bicker over which piece of crap is the least smelly? We'd still be arguing over pieces of crap.*

*Please note that that's no reason not to continue the thread anyway.
